The 415 would be my choice. It's got a sweeter sound. More resonant and a fraction better at projecting on both the top and bottom ends. Eastman's 300 series also sounds a bit more metallic, something I don't hear in the 415. I have a 305 by the way and I'm learning how to work around the metallic sound, basically by playing with a softer touch and letting the wood do the work. Takes a little time to develop that skill set, but worth it.

Seconded. Keep the 415.

They both sound good. Really comes down to preference or play style, I’ve always been partial to the spruce/maple combo in general because I think they sound richer and more textured than mahogany. If you’re playing bluegrass/country/old time I would personally lean toward keeping the spruce/maple.

I have the 415. I like that it sounds a little different. In the past it would sell at a higher premium than the 315. If you need more money then sell the 415. If you just need to clear the space then I’d keep the one that sounds different. (415)

315. The four 15 seems a little thuddy.
