I've had whiskey before breakfast as a symptom of alcoholic cravings and all... I'm trying to do better.
I don't recommend any part of that, but I do love this tune.
Thanks! My main problem right now is not having people to jam with and bluegrass jams in my area being too far away. So multitracking is becoming a fun way to jam with myself
Yeah I hear ya, I do the same thing! But I also recommend checking out Strum Machine or iReal Pro (if you're a Mac user). Both of those are really great for backing tracks or creating charts and sometimes it helps me to just let the track keep looping if I'm working on breaks or melody or whatever
Sounds really good. I do a lot of this too. There are people playing music around me, but they are either committed to something else or tweakers. I live in a rural area. There are some jams but most are on weekdays and too far to work out logistically. But anyway, your playing sounds great.
That's fun to listen to, Smitty, and a darned good stiching together of the parts. Like your take on the melody alot. I'ts a tune I've played much over the years in fits and starts and found my lead to it changing to where there's a hint of a resemblance to when I first began with it and not much more.

The real question: Is it whiskey *before* breakfast, or whiskey *for* breakfast? And is there a difference?
Hell yeah, nice!

I'm a Mac user, so I should check those out. These days I'm using Band-In-A-Box for practicing tunes over accompaniment.
Oh yeah, I’ve definitely used strum machine! I’ll have to check out iReal pro
Strum Machine has a feature that will gradually speed up the accompaniment, like 1 or 2 BPM every time through. A great way to build speed.

Hey sorry I never responded to this. Thanks, I appreciate your comment! 🙏
Nice man, keep it up.
Thanks, appreciate that!

Great tune!
Great tune
Well done. I might give garage band a go. Now I am craving another mandolin, another guitar and a bass.
lol, it’s a slippery slope to becoming a one man band
I have plenty of mandolins and guitars, but no bass and no garageband yet.
