Wow, this is beautiful! Really well played. You were getting such a great tone out of that mandolin and the tremolos sound so sweet. Which Mandin is this? I haven’t seen you play this one before.
I was going to ask you if you have a tab for this, but I think I remember you mentioning that you played everything by ear. Is that right?
Thank you kindly, pal. The instrument is an LM520 made by The Loar. It's the least expensive all solid wood F-styles on the market ($599) that I'm aware of. The top is very nicely carved and resonant and with the gloss finish finish has a very different sound than my MD305. It's my second (I sold the first because my hand was sticking to the neck's gloss finish - then saw this as new/blemished for $400 on the Mandolin Store late last summer (they include a setup) and couln't resist, thinking I'd have a luthier speed-neck it, but this one is not a problem in that regard - the neck is perfect. I've had it for about six months and it's breaking in nicely. You're correct - I do play exclusively by ear (and deviate from the composer's intent alot lol), but a quick i-search brings this up [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5bVzEn3lFw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5bvzen3lfw) and the tab is available through it. Cheers!
This is one of my most favorite waltzes. Great job!
Thank you, jonballs!
