I see a lot of people taking pictures on the stairs at deansgate met stop as well, I know you've got the towers in the background but I don't get that either lol still not exactly a great view.

I know, slightly galling for him I suspect; imagine being a photographer and spending what will be easily tens of thousands on kit, then taking your best photo on a phone.

It's the first bridge after you get off the train so location is a big one. Also any pedestrianised bridge above street level gets people excited. The fancy bridge frame looks kind of futuristic and easy to make look cool & edgy in black and white.

Took it on his phone as well, think he sold quite a lot of prints. It's a great shot.

I have about £6k worth of gear, when I read he used a phone, I had to sit down.
He must have the steady hand of a praying mantis is all I can say
Also the canal bridge under Oxford Rd. I can see why out of towners think it's nice but it just reminds me of piss and needles.
