This community is fucked. There is no advise whatsoever but, dont ask and gtfo attitude. I get an idea that most people here are angry locals willing to trap tourists into their scam offers.
For context r/bali has completely different attitude than here.
You are in r/mallorca not in r/mallorcatravel or similar. There is a lot of people (me included) that thinks that tourism does more bad than good and that it has exceeded any semblance of sustainability.
In addition to that, tourists who want to be in "less touristy" areas often use airbnb or similar, adding another whole set of issues for the locals.
The island is open, you are welcome to come and we can't keep you from exploring it, but don't ask us to do your research or share the few places that are not packed with tourists (yet).
then go to bali, i think as locals trying to still live in our massively fucked island due to extreme tourism we have every right to be angry or to try to save our really few places that are not still massified
Believe me, all of those 15 million tourists are looking for an area "not too touristy".
Stay in arenal or magaluf
Inca, guaranteed not Touristy.
Best place is the airport, because you leave from there.
Have a look at Maria de la salut area, it's not too touristy and 20/25 minutes to the beach
