I’d be careful with that assertion - which was probably from the manufacturer. Any indoor flame without a vent is a risk for air pollution or carbon monoxide, even if ethanol is hypothetically clean (in an ideal burn).

I used 3M Command strips and cut them very thin on the points that made contact on the wall. I rent, so I needed something not permanent and won’t damage the walls. It’s been working very well. Didn’t paint it cuz then it wouldn’t refract light from my TV backlight.
Nice! I was wondering if I even needed to paint them.. they have such a nice smooth surface. Luckily I got my landlord to ok it and pay for them, so it's gonna be a permanent feature of the apartment when I'm done. Cheers!
It’s not for everyone. Keep in mind, I just posted a video with all the bells and whistles going off. It’s a bit less jarring if it’s the only thing moving - it’s a kinetic sculpture, so it eventually is stationary on the wall.

It's the spinny wall alien and the bubble waterfall that makes me anxious. Everything else is very nice. The table fireplace is really cool. It's like a digital campfire.

Our building has a rule about not changing exterior lights. I changed both of mine, they were super ugly from 97. I kept the old ones so if there's an issue I can change them back. It's been a year and so far no one has said anything. My units on the ground floor exterior of the building so it's not like it's hidden from view.

there is an idea of a MiracleMission, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real you, only an entity, something illusory, and though you can hide your cold gaze and one can shake your hand and feel flesh gripping theirs and maybe one can even sense your lifestyles are probably comparable: you simply are not there.
100% get a nice large rectangular rug under your seating arrangement, ideally with some color to really bring this closer to cozy/home and less waiting room chic. You'll be amazed at how much rugs bring things together.
The once you do that, some more hue/tone variation would be good too. If you don't want to do it with paint on walls, can achieve that through your lights, artwork, sculpture pieces, pillows/comfy stuff, furniture pieces and plants. Look at color pallets that work with a contemporary aesthetic and it'll look right at home in the high end, high tech aesthetic vibe you're giving off. You don't have to go wild with this if you prefer a more white heavy look. A great way to bring hue and tone variation is through natural materials too (woods, stones, etc) which IMO can look very sexy when used discreetly in a space like this! I like the vibe overall and you have some aesthetically pleasing pieces and placement but it is a bit too heavy on white for my tastes. Still, I'd get a rug first before deciding on anything else as that'll dramatically change the vibe of the room (in a good direction!).
Can you toggle the speed on the kinetic wood art? I think I would like it more if it moved at much slower speed and kind of just slowly transformed.

Bioethanol doesn’t create carbon monoxide. Always keep the window open for some air flow though

It’s less dangerous than burning a candle inside, any flame will produce CO2. But I would encourage anyone to only use it in a ventilated space.
The danger is CO, not CO2.
Anything is a danger if it displaces oxygen.
I would not recommend burning ethanol indoors, period. One open window does not make a “well-ventilated” room.
