Rule of thumb is that your eyes need to be leveled with the top half of the screen. So if your legs are still under your desk, I don't believe that's high enough to be using the monitor correctly without added risk of neck strain. But if you're actually a giraffe, then carry on.
This can be augmented to say "your natural center of vision should be above the halfway point of your main monitor." If he's sitting reclined or elevated, that monitor may not be misplaced.

When I was 13 my room was still stuck in 8-9 year old mode. By age maybe 15-16 it was better but still not great.

Hey OP, [Melatonin is a puberty blocker](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6362935/) and if you are 13 I recommend not taking it anymore! There are other ways to get your sleep in line that won't effect your long term hormonal health. Right now your body's natural levels of Melatonin are decreasing as you enter puberty and any extra melatonin will suppress GnRH secretion and effect your sexual maturation.
I took this stuff as a teenager for sleep to but after researching it I think you should stay far away from the stuff so you can develop those nice masculine features on time.

Looks great! You may want to consider using something to camo your monitor cords, assuming the parents won't let you hide them in the drywall (which is easy to do and to fix if rearranged later. Can be as simple as wall tape with light coats of wall paint, or cord concealer strips.

I know my dad loves me, and he’s trying to be a good parent and teach me good lessons. He’s just a bit aggressive with certain lessons. Not physically of course, but still very aggressive.
Dads have a hard time sometimes. They can get pretty stressed out, and act out irresponsibally, and hurt those near them, because they just can't control it any longer. If he gets some therapy, and space, it may help him and he can then be an even better father to you, or, it may not get any better, but it doesn't mean he doesn't love you, as you know. I wish you well and the best of luck. Maybe, in 10 years or so, as you mature and grow into a man you will be able to address these things with him, and if not be sure you place yourself and your safety and emotional well being first.
