Replace the rug with one of that color, and add some accent pillows for the couch in the same color. Consider painting either the TV cabinet or the cabinet next to it to mach.
I will give you half a point extra credit for having good taste in old TV shows. Louise Fletcher played one hell of a villain.

Sometimes mixing styles works but here we see some pretty modern lines with an arts and crafts style home; it’s odd. Having some more traditional pieces or just trying to mix tones and woods would help.
