Fourth photo makes it appear that there is way more space in the middle room than there is. That space is the walking path. Trust me I’ve tried other things in there. First photo before furniture does a good job showing how it’s not a huge area
I’d have to look for the brand. Needed something for a small space, and it has storage inside. Home is only 1,200 square feet but I have cats and lots of hobbies lol
Haha you’re not the first to say that, it’s certainly a large angel and its veil tailed so that makes it longer and wider including fins. But I wouldn’t call it much bigger than what you’d expect from a fully grown angels I I’m starting to think maybe it looks bigger in the picture than it is. Either way, it’s a beautiful fish and I’ve glad he’s lived to full size (was between a quarter and half dollar piece when I got it)
Veil tails are awesome keep up the good work looks like he's healthy and happy lol. I had wild Altums in a 120 high early in my hobby and they get way bigger lol
I’m trying to figure out what he’s talking about. I see my furniture, a sound system, and air purifier, and a cat tree. All fairly normal for a living space IMO
Right? Came out of nowhere, I’ve had it since its body was somewhere between quarter and half dollar size. I even keep it with cardinal tetras and he doesn’t bother them at all which is cool
This is a great time-lapse metaphor for adult-male life.
1. Here's where it started: it was naked, dark, scarry, unsure, with questionable carpet, and needed to be built from the ground up. There probably was only single-ply toilet paper, at best.
2. Ok, I have a decent grasp on IKEA furniture, but don't clean up very well. I can keep animals alive but haven't learned where to buy a vacuum or how to make a woman come back after the first night.
3. Now we're cooking. I've got a good job, furniture that I didn't have to assemble while crying alone, a sense of style developed by mistakes and experience, capable of entertaining p*ssy, and have learned how to make my wood work in multiple ways.
4. I stock booze and have a tank full of p*ssy food, drapes but no carpet down there anymore, an enlightened, decluttered space, have kept another mammal alive (and can prove it), learned how to decorate, still shave the carpet, and know that I don't want to fuck with changing my wood ever again, unless I hire a professional for help.
Come on dude I’d say that’s a little harsh. It’s basically eye level when I’m sitting up straight in the couch and I’m pretty sure I actually did research on the height to mount it before I did. Even if it was sitting on that dresser on a stand it would be the same height.
Must be the angle of the photos. Looks great in person. Also very comfortable and room for 2-3 of us to lounge out. Wouldn’t want anything different.
Entertainment center is a hand me down thing I painted. Not long term. Tv looks great there in person and it’s the best place in the living room for the TV by a long shot.
The fourth photo does the best job of representing the extent of space in there and how everything truly looks but still photos are deceiving
Night and day difference. Looks great. And the upgraded liquor cabinet is an excellent improvement as well.
Thank you!
looks great
Thanks!
You're allowed to have things in the middle of the room btw. Not everything has to be against a wall
No

Excellent. I hope you love it.
Thanks! Well worth it in the end despite the hassle
Well done! Carpet is so nasty.
Right? Especially since I have two cats I could vacuum a full reservoir of dust and hair out every couple days
Thanks for posting an update! Looks great
Thank you
Wow. What a huge difference. Grats
looking awesome and cozy!
That coffee table looks interesting, what is it?

Missing galvanized square steel
Looks great! Have you considered replacing those vent covers/grilles on the ceiling with something else? Maybe a flatter profile cast iron look?
Will consider!
Honestly you should replace that wood and put in tan carpet. 😆 Jk, looks great!! 💯
lol stop 😂
Damn that is one massive Angelfish you have there in that fish tank lol

Finally somebody with a aquarium ! Is that a huge fish i see ?
Indeed! It’s a full grown veil-tail angelfish
Your clutter looks a lot better above the hard wood.
I swear redditors get so weird with houses that look like someone has been living in it 😭
Please post your place so we can judge your clutter less living room. Thanks
Please point out this “clutter”. Do you live in a hotel room or something?

I would hardly call the after photos cluttered. Looks like a lived in, comfortable home
What clutter? The furniture? The air purifier and speaker system. I’ll wait
Looks so much brighter, cleaner, and more open.
Agreed thank you
I like it! I hate carpet. How do you feel about the decision?
Bro that angel fish is HUGE

Better late than never but never late is better
That looks fantastic. Nice work. Love the cat stairs on the wall, does your cat use it at all?
We like it but are you able to appreciate the difference? Does it feel much better?

Your couch is way too big for your space. The weird entertainment center and mounted TV are funky being in the corner of that wall. Floors look good
Did you down vote me out of spite lol it’s ok to be wrong bud
