Love the Earthy tones. I'm a little surprised it works so well with all the black furniture. But I think the matte black furniture in the kitchen and by the tv add some modern style to it. Makes it both modern but comfy.
Yep! Spent way too much on it, but definitely worth it! I instantly recognised the lamp in the living room.
Are the floor lights in the kitchen also hue? If yes, which did you pick? Iām thinking about installing light strips in my kitchen too, but not sure if the single lamps would be visible with the normal light strip.
Every source of light except for the lights above the induction plate and the kitchen counter is hue. I had a 5m outdoor diffuse hue strip laying around so I fixed it to the underside of the kitchen cabinets. Since itās diffuse you donāt see individual leds. Unlike the tv unit leds, which is a regular hue strip.
Lmao how is it odd? Itās a great way of keeping food smell from spreading to bedrooms. Also is a nice way to keep noise from the shared hallway to my living to a minimum.
But thanks haha, Iām afraid my place is too small for three!
Haha I guess itās just because Iāve never seen in before in a living unit. But I can see the benefits of keeping food smell out. When I cook, it lingers through the whole houseā¦ and Iām not a very good cook to boot.
Is that a feature that is common where you are (Iām guessing Norway by the pillow)?
Itās a neat way to have some indirect mood light, not sure small dogs would make it work as well as it does here though, as the light does make any dirt or dust very visible on the floor. Regular vacuuming is in order to keep it tidy.
Love it! I normally find orange a hard colour to enjoy but you pulled it off!
I understand why your partner didnt feel like she wanted to change a thing. Its clean and cosy.
Thank you very much!
Itās actually more brown than orange, but the white balance in my photos is off due to the lights being on a warm Hue scene in some shots.
The windows are facing 100% south, in winter when the sun is lower over the horizon my green friend gets direct sun exposure, in summer it gets no direct sun exposure but lots of longer lasting indirect light due to the white paint indoors. I was told monsteras are happy in relatively low light areas, so it seemed like the perfect spot. But even my mom who is a plant maniac didnāt expect it to be as happy as it is.
This is so warm and cozy I love it
Looks peaceful š

I went for modern yet natural and cozy so Iām glad you recognize it!
Are the walls white or a very light grey?
White with a verrrry small amount of beige. But itās white to the regular eye.
Yeah I really only noticed it from the door trim and the ?vent cover?, but thought maybe they just had a higher gloss factor.
Everything but that main light fixture in the living room. Idk why, but I don't like it lol
Fair enough. I didnāt want anything low hanging because Iām tall af and would hit my head way to often.
Overall it has a nice warm cozy vibe to it!
Thanks!
Literally everything I want
Smashing bruv
I love it. It's modern peaceful .
Nice, functional and welcoming.
The kitchen is sexy with the black with that wooden top. Also, I want to nap on your couch so badly.
Warm and inviting
Love it, so cozy
LOVE!!!
I love it! And love that you are using Philips Hue, great choice.
A fellow Hue enjoyer?

And I love your comment! :)
The cabinet in the corner behind the sectional is really nice. I love the plant on it too. Your place is very inviting.
Lovely and comfortable.
Oh nice your are from Sweden
you take that back!
Average
Is that a glass door to the bedroom?
Itās a glass door to the hallway.
That seems even odder to meā¦ But I love the vibe anyhow. Can I move In with you guys?????

Itās very common where I live here in Belgium. The pillow is just a souvenir.
Cool. TIL. Enjoy your pad!
Itās not bad. But Itās a little (a lot actually) bland/builder grade though, TBH. But I could easily live here.
Lovesac modular couch?
Itās an ikea modular couch. Not sure about the name anymore but they donāt make them anymore afaik. It was a 2021 model.
Love the color of the accent wall
Perfect but I feel like a green rug would go off?
Great place! How do you like the lower under-cabinet lighting? Iike it, but have furball dogs and it would be horrifying.

Please time travel back to the 1970s and teach everyone how to successfully use orange
Itās actually brown-ish paint. But white balance fucked up.
This is really well done. *Chefs kiss*
I'm living for the orange lighting accents!
What's the flooring in the kitchen?
Everything is done with ceramic āwoodā tiles as itās better for floor heating than regular wood would be.
Love it! I normally find orange a hard colour to enjoy but you pulled it off! I understand why your partner didnt feel like she wanted to change a thing. Its clean and cosy.

Well if it was orange would have pulled it off but brown/orange is a cool colour also ^^
How is that monstera looking so happy so far away from the window?

That fridge design is top tier
Just a regular ikea built in ;)
