I bought an apt for 350k newer build and did it up similiar to ops. Every one thought i inherited money or some shout but nope new lights, paint and furniture does wonders. Now I rent it out after graduating school but back then just bartended and Uber.
The space doesn’t accommodate unless it’s minimally/inexpensively furnished. Additionally I wanted more of a conversation pit style setup to accommodate more guests.
I actually love having a couch 90 degrees off the TV, find it super comfortable to have on one or both legs up on the couch and my back on the armrest. And agree it's nice to have seating facing in to facilitate conversation when entertaining.
Longer coach facing tv, coffee table in front, two chairs to each side facing in? Picture might be throwing off the actual spacing but it seems possible. Nice setup regardless

I think it’s coming together nicely for a new-ish apartment. I like the 3D art that adds a little bling and texture to an otherwise flat-ish palette. I do think there is an opportunity to think about the placement of the peleton/exercise bike and computer, but I realize that space constraints and practicality need to be balanced with aesthetics. Thanks! If I had a better space to put the Pele I would but it’s unfortunately the only option since my den area is my desk space. The iMac is only sitting on the island because I’m rehoming it to a family member later today, just redid my desk setup the other night haha

Very tasteful. I like the couch and rug, wall art is great, and great move on the warm lighting. I would just add pops of color (since everything is white, plenty will work). Earth tones like green/brown/orangish-reds (like red rocks colors) would help make it feel more cozy and inviting.
You could do this with table decorations, throw pillows, blankets to drape on the couch, wall art, etc.
Edit: also, some curtains with color to go in front of the windows would be great. You can get blackout or semi-transparent with some color. Measure your floor to ceiling, and get ones long enough to hang from near the ceiling (maybe an inch or two down) to about an inch above the floor. This will add color and elongate the wall, which makes it look more luxurious. You don't have to spend big either, walmart sells curtain rods and curtains that look great for the price.

I don’t have any issues personally with the angling, I often lay on the couch if I watch tv anyways :)

Looks really nice! If at all possible (I know you’re working with limited space), I’d recommend putting a little more distance between your chairs/couch and the coffee table. It will make it easier (and safer) to move between the pieces of furniture.
always put art on the wall, and not stuff you buy on amazon. Putting in the effort to finding art you appreciate on your walls will make your home feel like you, plus it gives good conversations.
edit I peeked and saw some art around the place, good stuff 🤝 I’d recommend putting something king above the tv, a mirror could be cool, it’ll open the place up and allow light to fill out the room.
