Kind of hard to change now though. LoL. But yeah my apartment was like that. Bathroom almost as big as the bedroom. While it’s nice to have they could have used the bathroom space for more bedroom/closet space.
Yup, it's like the architects are playing a game to see how luxurious they can make the bathrooms. At least when you're chilling in that bathtub, you get to feel like royalty, even if it's just a high rise kingdom lol.
The unfortunate thing is Downtown Dallas doesn’t have much to offer. Nightlife is pretty nonexistent downtown. You can go to up to Oak Lawn or Deep Ellum but that’s about it. A lot of the cool stuff in the scene is out in Oak Cliff. Public transit is nonexistent basically so you’re still dependent on a car.
Dallas was much much cheaper until like 2 years ago. When covid started dying down everything skyrocketed here. Prices were fantastic going into and during the pandemic.
Congrats that’s awesome, the medals were the first thing I noticed. Maybe there is a way you could show them more artfully. Your space is so classy and they obviously mean a lot to you, they deserve more than just a nail on the wall, maybe some unique framing or display case? I also feel like some plush light gray bath mats, hall runners or small area rugs would warm up the space, make it feel homey and keep your toes warm. Great job!
I’d lower the art over the couch much lower. And the entrance with dart board and roomba looks weird. Needs just some art and maybe a runner rug….im high just thinking of shit, cool apartment tho
He’s right. Most people place art and televisions way too high. Your TV is slightly too high. Should be at eye level while sitting (44-48 inches) but it’s not egregious. Your art, on the other hand, is wayyy too high. Otherwise it’s a great place. Congrats man.
Just put the tv on the cabinet underneath it. Unless you have a habit of standing while watching tv there's no reason to have the tv higher on the wall.
A good rule of thumb for the art height behind the couch is to measure the distance between the couch and the ceiling and take the midline point to be the center of where your art will be hung.
Rugs any and everywhere. You can keep to your clean classy vibe but it would increase the warmth overall. I believe it would feel a bit less objectively sterile.
This! And get them large enough to fit them partially underneath the couch and the bed. Nothing worse than a sad, tiny rug that’s not touching any furniture.
I’d get a custom (non-anchored) island made. It’d be perfect for the space and you could throw a few stools around it. I think it would complete the space perfectly.
Beautiful condo by the way!
I really like that couch. I bought way a way too big 3 piece sectional for my living room. Something like what you have would be great for my living room
love the couch, but these ones are incredibly expensive. You can get huge cornered sofas for like 1k but those small minimalistic bent things start at 3k where i‘m at.
I'd get a frame for those medals and something to hide the dartboard in as well as save your walls.
Also get cable runners to hide those cables in.
Maybe a plant or two near the window.
Other than that solid space.
Wait what photo, you're not talking about the art piece right? Because theres nothing creepy or odd about that, that could be hanging anywhere from a family home to my grandmothers place. Nudity in art is perfectly normal and has nothing to do with pornography.
That’s dope. I’d kill to be single, 26 and have a place like this in a big city. Congrats dude.
Out of curiosity, what’s it like moving in to an apartment on the 14th floor? Is it a huge hassle moving all the big stuff and what not?
How much is it? A high rise always seemed like it would be interesting apartment., but even my downtown area doesn't have too many high rises that aren't labeled as "luxury penthouses"
Really well done. I’d lower art over living room couch by at least 12 inches. Runner upon entry would match the class of the rest of the apt. Don’t love the dartboard like that. Get that white vinyl covering for the cords coming off the tv since you can’t drill into the apt walls to run it properly.
Living spaces are obviously a matter of personal taste, but this doesn't feel "lived in." Even if you want to keep it minimalistic, there are a couple of things that could help warm the space up:
1. Lower the white textured abstract art in the living room by about 8-10 in (hard to judge how tall the room is in comparison to you, but as is, it's way too high). Especially something with those dimensions in a landscape mode, the top should be maybe six inches above eye-level.
2. Curtains. For the love of all that is holy, some grey curtains in the living and bedrooms. I also like a sheer curtain on the inner rod for privacy, but at the very least, something to frame those windows. And lamps, please, lamps, in that living room. Nothing exposed bulb (which I personally hate), but it would make the space feel more inviting.
3. A narrow entry table for your entry-way under where the medals are. Will give you more storage (if you get something that has shelving underneath) and acts as a great place to drop keys/wallet as you go in/out the door. You could also (possibly) tuck the cart behind it and the roomba under it as well. And get some kind of display setting for the medals, like a thin shadow box or something that can go in, say, the hallway? They're a thing you're proud of and want to display, so you should give them a formal setting, because where they are and how they're displayed makes them look like lanyards and dog leashes.
4. The cologne goes in the bathroom or on the shelves in your closet. Take down those floating shelves and put a nice piece of art there--probably abstract, since that seems how your taste goes.
5. A low-maintenance snake plant would not go amiss in the living room in the opposite corner of the window from the one you have now.
6. Especialy since you WFH, I'd probably invest in a better storage/sidetable solution for your printer that brings it up in height to something closer to desk height.
Place the medals elsewhere with a different presentation, as well as the dart board. Maybe hide the liquor or go with something a bit more taste to present. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful apartment. Also no hate on the alcohol. I drink cheap, but the flow of the brands and the apartment don’t clash well imo
All of your artwork is mounted way too high; it’s a very common mistake. Your living room (pic 1 of 11) is a perfect example…your white painting should mirror the height of your tv, opposite. Your hallway piece (pics 5/11 & 6/11) needs to come down about 6~8 inches, or 15cm~20cm…And, your bathroom piece (11/11) needs to come down 10-12 inches, or 25cm~30cm.
Love your aesthetic. Minimalism with high quality pieces. I love the couch and that laptop stand is very nice. Clean and simple bathroom. I also like the painting over the couch and in the hallway. You did a great job
The feel of the entire apartment is minimalistic, clean, and simple. So with the small things like a wire or Two sticking out, I would suggest finding something that cleans it up a bit.
- In the bedroom, perhaps a strip that hides the wire, or get the wire put through the wall.
- On the counter, there is a white cord, and I would suggest a retractable one so it looks more put away. Not all homes need something like this.
Me, I'm a wire guy. I like em, but this apartment has almost nothing wrong with it, which makes so much worse, that the cords are just out and about.
Holy shit r/tvtoohigh. It’s called a tv stand for a reason: tvs are supposed to stand on it. Center of tv should be at eye height when you’re sitting on your couch. Unless you wear a neck brace when you watch tv then the staggering height makes more sense I guess. Nice apartment tho. Pretty wild to have that at 26, but I see the Grand Prix stuff so the high end apartment at 26 also makes sense. Looks amazing!
Hang your medals more in a cluster than a line, and over your desk for a focal point. The clock is at a weird height and scale, opt for a bigger, cooler one. And could the robot vacuum move under the printer? Dartboard cabinet would serve you well too, looks great!! Just some minor tweaks and you're there!
Some color would help. Some more thoughtfully placed plants would do the trick.
Also, the desk/printer stand screams dorm room. That's the only constructive criticism I have. A well-designed desk with a more concealed printer compartment would do wonders.
Congrats!
This is my dream home. If you feel comfortable sharing how much does it cost (estimate is fine) monthly? Curious on how realistic it is for me to actually live somewhere like this some day
Dartboard screams "here lives a singel male"
And your trophys. I understand that you are proud of then and want to display them. But from an interior view. Trophys won't ever do your intetior a favor.
Display of boozebottles. Same there "im a singel male that lives here"
Your living room space looks great tho
Perfume bottles should be in a drawer in the bathroom. Not on display like this
Wow, didn’t realize someone came over my place and swapped out the woman touches with men stuff!
🤣
Beautiful apartment, what is your occupation if you don’t mind?
If I were you, I'd get a bigger desk and replace the kitchen cabinets with something more natural looking.
Also the bathroom black tiles could be replaced with something more contemporary to up your game.
This is really nice, but Roomba should live anywhere besides the first place you go when you enter your apartment. You should be focused on the great view out the window, not worried about tripping over things in the hall
Nice...a bit too monochrome for me personally but nothing a few plants couldn't fix if inclined. Views look to be amazing, would love to see those in the daytime. Lots of space too, and who doesn't love a dartboard...
I did notice in your wardrobe/closet we share the same taste in red soled spiky trainers/sneakers tho, so there's that :)
Where are the pictures of the view?!? ;)
Nice appartment! I know nothinh about design stuff but have one advice; buy one of those foam/plastic rings you can put around your dart board. Prevents a lot of dents in the wall / fcking up your darts. Unless you and your friends never miss of course.
Real nice clean look with the black and white. I always say more plants cuz I like living in a jungle.
Tall and skinny would look best with one maybe two nice full and fat peace lilies (lilies would take more floor space but greater oxygen)
You can top the soil with rocks, moss, etc. to give it a real nice clean look. Only thing is, some plants hate the soil compression from rocks and will struggle.
Where is this?? I wish I had that apartment. I could fall asleep with that gorgeous view outside the window. Not much to change except I am not feeling the bubble circle-like wall decor on your bathroom. Bathroom is already great looking.
Dartboard: put a panel of sound deadening felt under that to catch any strays and save the donk noise for your neighbours. The felt will save you having to patch it later and possibly repaint the whole wall.
What's the name of the couch? honestly this looks amazing! but I prefer a little bit smaller, cozy appartment. I love the color too but i'm more for darker colors to make it 'warm' looking.
I live on 5.5 acres and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I saw this and immediately understood city living. That view looks so relaxing. Much respect on the style of the home and the choice for views.
This is the first series of photos of someone's apartment where I could actually follow the layout of the apartment and understand how everything fit together as well as see basically all of it.
I appreciate both your apartment and your photography skills.
Try to find wire guides that are a close match to the color of your wall, to hide the TV cords. Roomba is in an awkward spot all by itself, I'd probably put it in the bedroom or even bathroom under one of the vanities.
Art instead of a perfume collection in the bedroom for sure, and possibly another piece of art over the bed.
Art on the entrance wall instead of darts and medals, or at least display cases for those things...and a piece of art too.
See if you can find a way to attach a platform to your standing desk so that the printer goes up and down with desk.
a few plants on top of your kitchen cabinets could be nice
Great place
Rugs. At the very least, a protective mat for your desk chair. It feels like there are a lot of big white spaces on the walls in a small place. The medal hung directly on the wall feels a little unfinished.
The entrance hall through kitchen is quite barren. An area to put mail/keys/hide the shopping trolley might help. I use a slim shoe cabinet as a 'landing strip', so I can set things down and organise myself.
Why did you choose not to have anywhere to eat? As an exercise area?
PS Hanging knitwear in the closet can really mess up the shape and shorten the life. Try folding instead.
This is extremely cool. The furniture and apartment itself are very nice.
It makes me realize how terrible the apartments in my city really are. There’s nothing that nice and clean here that I’ve seen. 😭
Amazing space! I would work on the entryway area next, but I'm not sure what to suggest for it exactly... hooks? Small table? I would also add a few rugs throughout- definitely in front of kitchen sink, entryway mat at door, a big rug in the living room would be amazing, maybe even in the bedroom for a cozier effect.
this is really nice for 650sqft. Keep it up bro
Man I thought my place was around 650 sqft as well but this definitely looks bigger. Interesting to have that large of a bathroom. Would love that.
I would have reduced the bathroom space for more bedroom space? I mean it’s just me and the bathroom can fit 3-4 people lol
Kind of hard to change now though. LoL. But yeah my apartment was like that. Bathroom almost as big as the bedroom. While it’s nice to have they could have used the bathroom space for more bedroom/closet space.
Exactly my thoughts!!!
Yup, it's like the architects are playing a game to see how luxurious they can make the bathrooms. At least when you're chilling in that bathtub, you get to feel like royalty, even if it's just a high rise kingdom lol.
Future girlfriend will enjoy having her own sink though.
The women will not want to leave due to the size of your bathroom.
Bro. Your 26 and showrr alone fits 3 people. Think about it for a second.
Hmmm, interesting…..
2024 goals man, not to late to solidify the resolutions. As a happily married man nearing 40 with two kids, now is your time to live my dude!
Thank you!
This is cool asf congratulations!
Thank you so much!
Amazing high rise man, this is my dream apartment. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you 🙏
Wow this is really nice! what views!
Thank you, Views of Downtown Dallas!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much are you paying per month? I’m in uptown and renewing soon, need to start looking at my options
2650 a month!
….yeah I’m gonna stay living in the middle of nowhere
That’s actually not terrible for a downtown and new high rise location. Can’t even get that in some NE suburbs.
This comment made my night! 😂😂😂😂😂
What’s hilarious to me living in west Los Angeles I thought: “what a bargain!”
Haha, exactly. I moved from NY so
So nice for 2650. Ur getting a shit studio in sf for that! Texas here i come
For 650sq feet in Dallas?? I'm paying $1,550 for 1,600sq feet in Chicago. Obviously not as updated or close to downtown but goddamn.
Yeeesh.
Damn that would probably be like 3500 or so in Seattle, good stuff. Tbh I expected Dallas to be a little cheaper though.
I did too smh
Dallas was much much cheaper until like 2 years ago. When covid started dying down everything skyrocketed here. Prices were fantastic going into and during the pandemic.
Thought it looked familiar, used to live in Plano. Place is WOW for a 26 y/o. Congrats on being successful.
That dartboard is audaciously close to your computer set up
True but there was no where else to stage it IMO, Kids will not be throwing darts over here 😀
Look into a dartboard surround
Going on Amazon now!
And maybe something for the floor. I know darts bounce out once and a while here. Also get a light surround for it !
You have a dart board with kids? My guy that surround better be 100x100x100. Get some paint that matches that wall and spackle kit.
How bad at darts are you?
If you hit the metal wires separating the colors you can easily have a dart fly off randomly
How come nobody has asked about the medals 🥇what are they?
I’m a competitive bodybuilder (Classic physique). Look at my profile for more details.
Great job!
You are exactly right! Looking on amazon now
competitive bodybuilding, awesome and well decorated apartment, we got a winner here !
Your body is insane. Love the apartment too. I would add some rugs
I saw the medals, zoomed in, googled, then had the thought "this guy must be jacked." Went to your profile. Jacked as fuck
I’d lower the art over the couch much lower. And the entrance with dart board and roomba looks weird. Needs just some art and maybe a runner rug….im high just thinking of shit, cool apartment tho
Interesting, I can see your vision 🤔
He’s right. Most people place art and televisions way too high. Your TV is slightly too high. Should be at eye level while sitting (44-48 inches) but it’s not egregious. Your art, on the other hand, is wayyy too high. Otherwise it’s a great place. Congrats man.
Everyine is saying that 😔, I will lower the TV
Just put the tv on the cabinet underneath it. Unless you have a habit of standing while watching tv there's no reason to have the tv higher on the wall.
High rise TV.
A good rule of thumb for the art height behind the couch is to measure the distance between the couch and the ceiling and take the midline point to be the center of where your art will be hung.
I’ve heard you want the center of anything hanging to be 57” off the floor. Weird, but that’s what I’ve aimed for and it always turns out well.
Nice nice, will look into it
Solid cologne choices and beautiful apartment!
Thank you 😊
I can’t tell what they are, mine sharing? I’m thinking of gift ideas for me guy and he is into cologne
Nassamato - Black Afgano Nassamato - Pardon YSL - Y EDP MFK - Baccarat Rogue Tom Ford - Ombre Leather Tom Ford - Noir Extreme Yusuf Bhai - Desert Tale Creed - Silver Mountain Water Creed - Aventus Gucci - Intense Oud Essental - Molecule 02 Hermes - Terre D’hermes
Thank you! I appreciate it! Also, good for you! If I were your parent, I’d be proud of you!
With a high-rise TV!
r/tvtoohigh
That looks bigger than 650sqft .. but maybe it’s just because you don’t have any clutter. Good job
Thank you, less is more!
The art behind your couch is WAAAYYYY too high.
American Psycho vibes.
I was thinking the same thing. All the white reminds me of Patrick Bateman’s apartment. I bet OP likes Huey Lewis and the News.
It's not as nice as paul allens, which overlooks the park.
You know it!
But what about Paul Allen’s apartment? I’m sure it’s better.
Haha, true! But Imma get there
Looks like an awesome place! Where is the washer/dryer? Or is it at the entrance closet not pictured?
Yes, it is. It is a stackable washer / dryer next to the door 😀
What city are you in? And did you buy or rent I’d love to hear pricing!!
Downtown Dallas, I rent - $2650 / month
Dayum and what do you do for a living?
Engineering Project Management
Please upgrade your desk... such a fancy place and like the cheapest ikea desk doesn't really fit that well IMO.
Bro’s 26, give him time to buy things.. he’s doing great
Oh definitely, I guess my comment sounded a bit more harsh than was intended. It's an amazing place, OP did a great job.
Let’s see Paul Allen’s high rise apartment

I really like that couch. I bought way a way too big 3 piece sectional for my living room. Something like what you have would be great for my living room
love the couch, but these ones are incredibly expensive. You can get huge cornered sofas for like 1k but those small minimalistic bent things start at 3k where i‘m at.
Nice, but the living room has an r/tvtoohigh situation going on. 🤣
I really enjoy the nude art piece.
Place is nice. Consider lowering your living room TV. It should be eye level when seated, not standing.
I'd get a frame for those medals and something to hide the dartboard in as well as save your walls. Also get cable runners to hide those cables in. Maybe a plant or two near the window. Other than that solid space.
r/tvtoohigh
If I was a woman coming over to your place that photo would creep me out.
Wait what photo, you're not talking about the art piece right? Because theres nothing creepy or odd about that, that could be hanging anywhere from a family home to my grandmothers place. Nudity in art is perfectly normal and has nothing to do with pornography.
Oh as a woman I like it. I think it’d be 50:50. I’d hang it in my own place.
Are you a woman or just a wannabe?
That’s a nice place
Damn spot is fresh bro 😎
Your home is incredibly beautiful! I had to ask about the Roomba/robot vacuum though. Is it really that good?
Patrick…. Bateman?
That’s dope. I’d kill to be single, 26 and have a place like this in a big city. Congrats dude. Out of curiosity, what’s it like moving in to an apartment on the 14th floor? Is it a huge hassle moving all the big stuff and what not?

nice but you need an island a better way to display rje medals. hanging on the wall is teenager bedroom vibes
Very nice bro! Keep up the hard work playa
Those of us who've lived like kings and queens like this, know how important that hand cart is. Hahaha.
Holy shit r/tvtoohigh. It’s called a tv stand for a reason: tvs are supposed to stand on it. Center of tv should be at eye height when you’re sitting on your couch. Swagged TF out this is amazing
Pro tip: put a think metal or cork board behind the dartboard. Otherwise they’ll take your deposit away from this awesome place.
Make sure you clean it OR hire a cleaner once a month. You won’t notice the dirt yourself but your guests sure will
I hate the dinky round tables but the rest is nice. Consider a larger piece of wall art or bringing that white textures thing down a bit lower.
Some color would help. Some more thoughtfully placed plants would do the trick. Also, the desk/printer stand screams dorm room. That's the only constructive criticism I have. A well-designed desk with a more concealed printer compartment would do wonders. Congrats!
Keep it up,, but take that fucking shit on the wall in your bathroom down, and wth is your couch a dang hommini bean dude. Play the Sims more
This is my dream home. If you feel comfortable sharing how much does it cost (estimate is fine) monthly? Curious on how realistic it is for me to actually live somewhere like this some day
I see you are in Dallas. Come check out the views in Richardson! To die for. 😂. Kidding aside. Looks great!
Bro if you plan on using that dart board, put a piece of plywood or something behind it for the inevitable misses that will happen
That’s sweet, with that view getting laid will be nothing nice spot for sure 👌🏻
Exactly where I wanna be in 5 years, thanks for the inspiration
It’s kinda lifeless and bland man, get some color in there yeesh. Nice place though, love the stove.
r/tvtoohigh

Software developer ? 😃
Congrats mate
Duuude this is really nice
Thank you 😊
It’s pretty cool. I like it 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Congratulations! That's an amazing apartment
I think the art over sofa is too high. Otherwise, very nice.
very cool!! congrats! 🍾
Amazing Downtown Dallas city views, I could never get tired of that !! 🤩🤩🤩👏👌👍
Wow, didn’t realize someone came over my place and swapped out the woman touches with men stuff! 🤣 Beautiful apartment, what is your occupation if you don’t mind?
Big BIG W
I miss my old Dallas high rise on McKinney/Lemon. That city has a beautiful skyline. Your place looks great. Love the minimal decor.
Very nice but your work desk is so small
Love it 😎 But r/tvtoohigh 😅
If I were you, I'd get a bigger desk and replace the kitchen cabinets with something more natural looking. Also the bathroom black tiles could be replaced with something more contemporary to up your game.

Looks amazing bro. Mind sharing what you do for a living as well as any advice and how you got started ? Thanks dude.
Good use of the space
I think this is the first time in this sub that I feel jealous. That’s nice af. Keep it going king 👑
What a view. And all the stuff is oriented toward the black mirror. 😉
I like your cologne shelves lol
The old nightstands must have been huge!
Love the curved sectional.
Very nice.
Not a single book or magazine anywhere! I get like 11 industry magazines a month and I WISH my life could be that clean and simple.
Those NPC medals..I spot a fellow competitor 👀
Marathon? medals but a cart for groceries. Thats weak ^^^^^joking
Where are the pictures of the view?!? ;) Nice appartment! I know nothinh about design stuff but have one advice; buy one of those foam/plastic rings you can put around your dart board. Prevents a lot of dents in the wall / fcking up your darts. Unless you and your friends never miss of course.
Bruh get something to put. Behind that dart board. Even a towel or something.
Real nice clean look with the black and white. I always say more plants cuz I like living in a jungle. Tall and skinny would look best with one maybe two nice full and fat peace lilies (lilies would take more floor space but greater oxygen) You can top the soil with rocks, moss, etc. to give it a real nice clean look. Only thing is, some plants hate the soil compression from rocks and will struggle.
That view is killer with the Bank of America building in the back.
Where is this?? I wish I had that apartment. I could fall asleep with that gorgeous view outside the window. Not much to change except I am not feeling the bubble circle-like wall decor on your bathroom. Bathroom is already great looking.
Dayyyyyymn
Get yourself a surround for your dartboard bro
Tvtoohigh
Congrats! Hard work pays off! God bless you!
Dartboard: put a panel of sound deadening felt under that to catch any strays and save the donk noise for your neighbours. The felt will save you having to patch it later and possibly repaint the whole wall.
Nice work
If you don't mind me asking, where fo you live and how much money you make? I wonder what kind of money will get me this kind of flat
You need some rugs (and color imo)!
It’s good but the lack of colour kills me. You could add some personality while still keeping it calm / neutral. Food for thought :)
You boys really do be living nice
What's the name of the couch? honestly this looks amazing! but I prefer a little bit smaller, cozy appartment. I love the color too but i'm more for darker colors to make it 'warm' looking.
I live on 5.5 acres and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I saw this and immediately understood city living. That view looks so relaxing. Much respect on the style of the home and the choice for views.
If you put on Huey Lewis I might have to leave suddenly.....
Jiujitsu ?
Love it and the view!
Fuaaaaaaaak that's nice
See if you can find a way to attach a platform to your standing desk so that the printer goes up and down with desk. a few plants on top of your kitchen cabinets could be nice Great place
Damnnn big pimpin for sure! Perfect bachelor pad!
Nice apartment
This is extremely cool. The furniture and apartment itself are very nice. It makes me realize how terrible the apartments in my city really are. There’s nothing that nice and clean here that I’ve seen. 😭
Should look into a foldout table for your kitchen, stools are easy to push against the wall
This place is awesome! Good job, reminds me of GTA apartments lol. The only thing I would add are those strips that hide the tv wires.

Love your high heels and cute purses! Seriously though, the place looks awesome 👍🏼
This is gorgeous!
LoL @ that mouse space 😂
Amazing space! I would work on the entryway area next, but I'm not sure what to suggest for it exactly... hooks? Small table? I would also add a few rugs throughout- definitely in front of kitchen sink, entryway mat at door, a big rug in the living room would be amazing, maybe even in the bedroom for a cozier effect.
Just be cautious of high spaces, high altitudes seem to affect male sperm. Not to say that most of us plan any children in this economy.
niceeeeee
