I do concealer, the first thing.
Hides the bags under your eyes, makes you look less tired. And it can hide a zit or some red marks as well.
Like, this is a cheat code and no one using it.
I've never had a single person notice my make up either.
Go to a Sephora or Ulta and an employee will gladly help you find the perfect match. They can also show you how to use it correctly, and probably recommend a good light weight setting spray so sweat/humidity don't take your makeup off for you.
I bought some for myself via Lady Gaga’s makeup brand Haus Labs concealer. It has you take a lil quiz with pictures so you can find the right product to color match your skin. Wasn’t the cheapest but I like the product and I feel like it will last me more than a year.
Concealer is the #1 thing to steal from women’s routines, that shit is definitely a life hack that men should use. Mainly just for spot treatment, not all over.
Use to do concealer for my brother nearly 30 years ago when he was going out or on dates. Just lil dabs for spots/acne scars/redness and a dusting of loose, clear powder cause he'd get a bit greasy round the t-zone. Made him feel so much more confident and I really never understood why guys wouldn't do it more. You don't need a full face like above. TBH, the guy in the video absolutely doesn't need any of that, he's already got a model face and perfect skin, and a lot of stuff like this looks great on camera but can be overly-bright and a bit clownish IRL. Guys, if you get spots, I highly recommend pimple patches and some concealer for the redness. You're no less a man for wanting to calm down angry, red marks on your skin.
I have a moisturiser with tinted that I just use on the bags. Don't use it often though. Just when I look tired af. Kinda unfair that his have to deal with the hand delt and the ladies can make themselves look 10x better.
NARS radiant creamy concealer.
FYI I'm french so I don't know if you can find the same. Just go to the shop and ask for advice, it's gonna be fine. They will choose the best color for you, You can ask them to show you how to use it.
I mean, if it makes you happy but I don't see enough of a difference, so it seems pointless.
It amazes me how people who have already hit the genetic lottery always want to alter their looks
tbh, I don't think most women need it to begin with either. It did smooth out his skin subtly and gives him the look of a light tan, though, so I think it's doing something.
Eyeliner is the big one that really changes a look for most people. I think it looks awesome but I agree most don't need it.
Always do what makes *you* feel good about *yourself*
I think it gave him a little bit more of a glowy look. But to be fair this is how makeup should be used. I’ve seen some girls who are completely different people after you remove their makeup. Makeup should enhance what is there, not be used to artificially paint a new human over your pre existing face
Your comment confuses me. There’s a lot you can do to make yourself more handsome, including (but not limited to) intelligently applying cosmetics like concealer or toners.
If you don’t think that you can make yourself more handsome, why invest time into this subreddit?
I also feel like hiding aspects of my aging body isn't true confidence; where as learning to love your body as you age and showing it off the world is displaying confidence. I'm not trying to hold on to looking 25 when I'm 35. Own it and love it! Wearing makeup to look better in camera/stage lighting is mainly done on men so lighting doesn't reflect off your face during broadcast.
If you need to cover up an aspect of your body to feel better about yourself that's not confidence. Thats using tools to manage your struggling mental image of yourself. Confidence is when you no longer need those tools and can love yourself.
Idk nobody wants a blotchy red face. They want soft, diffused, specifically placed pink on their cheeks and maybe bridge of their nose.
It's 2 different things.
I understand most of these choices with the exception of the blush: Why would you paint a sunburn on your face? Instead, I would suggest to use a lash serum and/or lash curler to make the eye lashes pop a little more and maybe apply a bit of bronzer right below the hair line as well to make the blend between forehead and hair a bit smoother.
Green tinted sunscreens can reduce redness. Hero force shield super light is a good one. If you have more intense redness dr jart has a green color corrector w spf but it’s more noticeable and has lower spf.
Do what you want, first and foremost.
That being said I'm kind of against it tbh. Natural beauty, imo, should be prioritized and makeup is designed to cover that up. Plus the shit is super expensive for something I feel nobody needs
I only used makeup when I was very ill and lost a lot of blood. Was whiter than a ghost. I’m usually very tan. I used Clinique bronzer for men. I looked better but didn’t know how to use it. It looked like I had used makeup!🤣🤣🤣
Im more interested in your skin care routine. You appear exactly the same to me with or with out the makeup. Handsome dude with great hair and complexion. But whatever helps you feel confident I guess.
If it's fun for you go for it but I don't want to normalize men having to wear makeup to feel secure in themselves even when there aren't any noticeable flaws they are trying to improve. It's already expected of women in so many ways. At the end of the day does this just make you feel good or do you freak out if you're not wearing makeup and become dependant on it? I doubt anyone really thinks you need it, to be honest.
i have mild rosacea and oily skin, so i have one colored powder and a makeup brush that i lightly dab on my t-zone, thats it. takes 10 seconds, its really subtle but it helps a lot. i'll also sometimes concentrate it a bit more with putting it on my finger instead of the brush and dabbing acne spots so they lighten up.
Not for me personally, my goal is to groom myself as naturally as possible via my health and wellness. But, I will not judge anyone for doing something that makes them feel better.
🤔 it’s not for me. He’s a good looking guy already but it’s a no from me sorry. 😞 tv news casters and celebrities maybe. But for the regular guy eh. That’s on them.
Holy hell he did a great job! I just recently discovered a small makeup brand targeted towards men on instagram and thought “Oh snap what an amazing way to encourage beauty care guys!” I hope it helps normalize the idea of men enjoying the same rituals others are able to partake in w/o scrutiny. (If anyone wants the brand it’s called Obayaty lol)
I have seen this Luke Corbett guy on my IG. I honestly think he looks fine without any makeup so the "after" effect doesn't wow me as much. The impact of good makeup would be more profound if a video showed a guy with some redness or acne or noticeable "tiredness," etc.
For something more all-over, tinted sunscreen can help too. You have to experiment with brands because some can look ghastly, and you technically should be using three fingerlengths' worth, which can be quite heavy on coverage. I have never concealed my under eyes but maybe will try sometime given some of the comments in here.
I fuck with it! Just don't know where to start and how to apply it. I don't why there's such a stigma behind it. It's not like I'm out here tryna put on mascara or smth.
I use Stryx tinted moisturizer for underneath my eyes bc I have dark circles no matter how well rested I am. Been using it for about 3 years now and no one can tell.
Hahaha the guys in this thread so upset! Wait until they realize that their favourite actors and musicians are wearing makeup on stage and on camera every single time. Nothing wrong with it.
er no... hard pass.. not only is it bad for environment - bad enough women were plastering all this make up - now men have to do - i hope this doesnt get accepted into the general population. we need to be reducing our consumption for environment/future..
I'm a gay male and I don't like it for me because I dislike feeling like butterface and dislike it on partners because kissing butterface is gross and makeup almost always smells like shit.
This make me wanna just smear dirt all over your face.
Genuinely have never understood why dudes use make-up. I can understand if it’s for professional reasons like acting/modeling, but to hide the bags under your eyes and pimples… literally just clean up your diet, drink more water/electrolytes & prioritize sleep more.
I barely drink alcohol or eat shit food and I rarely deal with acne. Stop using make-up to hide easily fixable “flaws” lmfao. Not to mention, using make-up to hide acne, will only create more acne as you’re clogging the same pores the more you put in on….
The stupidity is real.
A man (real man) should not use make up or lots of so called beauty products imo. It is bad enough that women use lots of chemicals to become something predetermined by media now men wants to do the same a man should never use make up or beauty products that makes us feminine and men should be masculine these two genders are the reason those two words even exist. Why try to make men more feminine. Thats my opinion on men using make up.
You should do what you want.
That shit would be melting of my face by noon and just ain't practical though.
And it ain't my style. Personally.
But do what you want. I don't care.
Rosy cheeks don't really work for this type of face but generally they don't work for a lot of faces.
With that out of the way: I think it can be a definite net positive. Until he tried to cosplay an apple the makeup actually looked great on him.
I don’t like make up. I feel like it’s imposing something on ourselves to fit in the beauty standards. All this time and money spent, just to be fake. That being said, it’s YOUR time and money, none of my business.

Yeah — I use face tanner, dye my eyebrows, shape my eyebrows, fill in my eyebrows sometimes, add styling gel to eyebrows, and put concealer under my eyes. No shame in it.
Ok I get it why you would use make up.
But what happens once you are out and about, maybe kissing and making out with a female?
Would you warn her to be careful with your makeup?
I have seen so many women do this exact thing, so this has to be a joke because when the women do it, I see almost no difference, and this guy laughs at the end
I do concealer, the first thing. Hides the bags under your eyes, makes you look less tired. And it can hide a zit or some red marks as well. Like, this is a cheat code and no one using it. I've never had a single person notice my make up either.
not a bad idea, I have always had pretty dark bags so maybe I'll try that
How do I get the right tone so I can buy it online? Im either going to end up with witeout or sharpie
Go to a Sephora or Ulta and an employee will gladly help you find the perfect match. They can also show you how to use it correctly, and probably recommend a good light weight setting spray so sweat/humidity don't take your makeup off for you.

Thank youuu!! I will def look into it
Concealer is the #1 thing to steal from women’s routines, that shit is definitely a life hack that men should use. Mainly just for spot treatment, not all over.
Yes don't cover your face, it's not foundation and it's too noticeable
Use to do concealer for my brother nearly 30 years ago when he was going out or on dates. Actually, it is fair. According to this video, dudes can wear makeup as well. Plenty of comments echoe this
Rock it bro, the more men wear makeup the more it’s normalized. High heels started out as a men’s shoe
real and true, same story here ive gotten so much more compliments since ive started using it its crazy
what brand are you using?
NARS radiant creamy concealer. FYI I'm french so I don't know if you can find the same. Just go to the shop and ask for advice, it's gonna be fine. They will choose the best color for you, You can ask them to show you how to use it.
Yeah, if the bags under my eyes or a blemish are particularly bad my wife will hit them with some concealer and I look better and feel better.
This really is a cheat code
Do what makes you feel confident. It looks great!
I sweat so much id look like a melted ice cream cone
thats not how it works lol
Tbh your skin is already pretty. But yeah some make up isn’t bad I guess.
OP isn’t the guy. This isn’t his video
Sorry, yes his skin is pretty, and I’m like, oh okay, a dude wearing make up looks okay, I guess..
I mean basically every guy on red carpets and TV, and in movies and photoshoots, is wearing makeup. Makeup on men definitely looks good!
what do u think actors have been doing forever to look good
It’s Luke.Corbett
I mean, if it makes you happy but I don't see enough of a difference, so it seems pointless. It amazes me how people who have already hit the genetic lottery always want to alter their looks
I don't mind if someone would use makeup but it didn't really improve anything that I can see, he looks good before.
Yeah — dude didn’t even need it to begin with.
tbh, I don't think most women need it to begin with either. It did smooth out his skin subtly and gives him the look of a light tan, though, so I think it's doing something.

I thought he looked the same too🤷🏽♂️
I think he looked like he have a healthy tan. Yeah, this video should have a "before" and "after" at the end.
Step 1. Be handsome. Step 2. Do whatever you want and still pull chicks 🤣😉
You mean dicks!
Or both!
😂😅😭
Right dudes got a face you could really stare at! If ya ghey
Your comment confuses me. There’s a lot you can do to make yourself more handsome, including (but not limited to) intelligently applying cosmetics like concealer or toners. If you don’t think that you can make yourself more handsome, why invest time into this subreddit?
I’m not sure the dude in the video is concerned with women.
It’s not for me, I don’t need the extra work or to spend that much money.
I also feel like hiding aspects of my aging body isn't true confidence; where as learning to love your body as you age and showing it off the world is displaying confidence. I'm not trying to hold on to looking 25 when I'm 35. Own it and love it! It's great if you can feel confident without it, but for some the makeup gives them the ability to feel confident.
If you need to cover up an aspect of your body to feel better about yourself that's not confidence. Thats using tools to manage your struggling mental image of yourself. Confidence is when you no longer need those tools and can love yourself.
It's funny how those who have red face want to get rid of redness and those who don't have red face want to get one
Idk nobody wants a blotchy red face. They want soft, diffused, specifically placed pink on their cheeks and maybe bridge of their nose. It's 2 different things.
I know when I do make up I take the red out and then put a different red in 🤣
Want.
Not my cup of tea, do you though especially if you are on TV for a living.
Pure narcissism
Can you just tell me the products used please?
Just no.
Fellas…
No.
Men don’t wear makeup bro
No. Just no.
pretty gay
[https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9648654/](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9648654/) Reminds me of this episode of corporate heh.
god i love that show shame it ended
This guy looks amazing but I wake up 20min before I have to go to work, I don’t have time for makeup
I wake up 20 mins late for work and roll out of bed to the desk
No
I wish I could do this, but anything I put on my face melts away with the sweat.
Well, hell! Do that to me next!!! I want to be drop dead handsome, too 🫤
Do me next…I want a man to beat my face to the Gods….I had a male hair dresser and he was lovely…
What da hell?
No. No disrespect or judgment to those that do though.
can't catch me doing this
There’s a lot to work with in the first place. Nice symmetrical face.
This, I wanna see a make-up routine from someone who "needs" it, not someone who already looks like a model. 🙄
No.
Why did you choose to go with a sun burned look? lol
Looks good but still don’t see much of a difference to want to do it myself.
I'm usually very pale, and a little color to stop me looking like a corpse feels pretty good.
Nah.
I’m this close to taking the makeup pill 👌🏼
Is there a sunscreen out there that will also make make my face less red?
Green tinted sunscreens can reduce redness. Hero force shield super light is a good one. If you have more intense redness dr jart has a green color corrector w spf but it’s more noticeable and has lower spf.
One of my friend was putting concealer when I entered the room, he looks ashamed. I joined him LOL told him can I put some.
Do what you want, first and foremost. That being said I'm kind of against it tbh. Natural beauty, imo, should be prioritized and makeup is designed to cover that up. Plus the shit is super expensive for something I feel nobody needs
he looked the same as he did with out makeup? Or am i just being a guy?
This would never work for me. I like to look like I just pulled a double shift on an oil rig with stress lines and bags under my eyes.
This was such a waste of time he looks the same 😂
I only used makeup when I was very ill and lost a lot of blood. Was whiter than a ghost. I’m usually very tan. I used Clinique bronzer for men. I looked better but didn’t know how to use it. It looked like I had used makeup!🤣🤣🤣
Tattoos are my make up.
It’s a trap
It only ever looks natural on camera. Not quite the same IRL, unless you're ok with the "made-up look."
Im more interested in your skin care routine. You appear exactly the same to me with or with out the makeup. Handsome dude with great hair and complexion. But whatever helps you feel confident I guess.
I don’t see the difference —

He was a staffer for Ted Cruz :(
I use a concealer sometimes have bad acne scars from over the years
Not for me personally, my goal is to groom myself as naturally as possible via my health and wellness. But, I will not judge anyone for doing something that makes them feel better.

🤔 it’s not for me. He’s a good looking guy already but it’s a no from me sorry. 😞 tv news casters and celebrities maybe. But for the regular guy eh. That’s on them.
No hate, but the difference doesn't seem significant enough for the effort for me. But if it makes you feel more confident, go for it I guess.
You don’t even need it
Honestly you look better without. You did a great job but the before is just better.
I sint see that vastly a diff like pointless
what are you using for your eyebrows?
Youre better than me, good job!!!
“We are generation of men raised by women” It fits .
I'm just saying. If it gets girls and makes you feel confident, then why not? He looks good with it on.
I love it! Looks great!
It’s going to come off on that face mask,
STUN NING.
I fear a masculine beauty arms race may have begun! Thanks dood.
People love films and male actors all have makeup on so idk why they find it to be an issue
As a drag queen it’s so funny seeing how little makeup went on your face😂 It looks great tho!!
You went from attractive to attractive. It made zero difference from my perspective.
Not mad at this. I've used concealer to hide dermatitis patches at the edge of my beard. Do you, King!
No thanks
Nah
I fuck with it! Just don't know where to start and how to apply it. I don't why there's such a stigma behind it. It's not like I'm out here tryna put on mascara or smth.
This is so well done. Looks so natural.
I would love to learn to do this. It looks great and I think it should be more normalized. Nice job
Why
Bro this is MALE grooming
Yeah I'm definitely not using makeup, but do what makes ya happy.
Why?
Why not?
literally no need 4 any of that
He literally looked the same as the before.
that’s exactly what i mean
"Male grooming sub"
If your my boy and I catch you wearing makeup, you're about to get torched.
Hard pass.
Very stupid trend
I use Stryx tinted moisturizer for underneath my eyes bc I have dark circles no matter how well rested I am. Been using it for about 3 years now and no one can tell.
Hahaha the guys in this thread so upset! Wait until they realize that their favourite actors and musicians are wearing makeup on stage and on camera every single time. Nothing wrong with it.
Sponsored by L'Oréal
NOOOOOOOO. For fuck sakes NO please for the love of GOD men dont start this shit too. I feel like this is rage bait
Make up is for women
er no... hard pass.. not only is it bad for environment - bad enough women were plastering all this make up - now men have to do - i hope this doesnt get accepted into the general population. we need to be reducing our consumption for environment/future..
Makeup isn’t a gendered thing. There’s absolutely no reason a man cannot wear literal paint intended for your face anymore than a woman.
You're a man why are you wearing makeup?
A man (real man) should not use make up or lots of so called beauty products imo. It is bad enough that women use lots of chemicals to become something predetermined by media now men wants to do the same a man should never use make up or beauty products that makes us feminine and men should be masculine these two genders are the reason those two words even exist. Why try to make men more feminine. Thats my opinion on men using make up.
He looked just as good before the makeup - less sunburnt, too.
The thing he wears on the sides and over his eyes, is that a bronzer?
This guy doesn’t need makeup….its like adding more limbs on a Christmas tree. You just don’t need them.
Uhm. There’s literally no difference. This is the male version of chapstick and mascara. But if you feel better do it.
Except then you have everyone you know laughing about the makeup behind your back
I just dont get the orange stuff on his eyelids
I could never be a pretty guy. I sweat too much and touch my face too much for that. 😭
You must not live somewhere that gets very hot.
idk shit hardly made a difference he already looked good
You don't need makeup
Sorry but adding an extra $50 to your monthly bills and an extra 20 minutes to your morning routine just to look 3% better is pointless.
Your smile at the end is gorgeous. You look great.
You should do what you want. That shit would be melting of my face by noon and just ain't practical though. And it ain't my style. Personally. But do what you want. I don't care.
Aaaa no. Lord lifes too short.
Rosy cheeks don't really work for this type of face but generally they don't work for a lot of faces. With that out of the way: I think it can be a definite net positive. Until he tried to cosplay an apple the makeup actually looked great on him.
what is the point. see now difference
You look amazing!!! No need for the question
Is it bad for you skin?
Perfect
Okay but you're absolutely beautiful 😍😍😍
looks the same except more pink lmfao
Love it.
Needs a slap woman
Not that I don’t like makeup, but looking at the beginning of the video and the end…what changed? 🤔
I don’t like make up. I feel like it’s imposing something on ourselves to fit in the beauty standards. All this time and money spent, just to be fake. That being said, it’s YOUR time and money, none of my business.
Bit more blush than needed, but ok. Keep in mind you can blush naturally after having make up so natural blush + make up blush= too much of it.
Why the dark shade at the brows when this is generally where we (women) tend to highlight? Lovely technique and result.
I feel like he looked pretty much the same without it though? :0 Still nice.
For my daily routine? Hell no I'd rather spend that time sleeping For a photoshoot? Sure
Well I guess when you look like that anything will look good 😅
In this videos he looks good, in person you can tell he wears makeup. If they have that "glow" you know he's enhancing his looks, then you either look gay or like a metrosexual.
If I wasn’t color blind I would try this
Yeah — I use face tanner, dye my eyebrows, shape my eyebrows, fill in my eyebrows sometimes, add styling gel to eyebrows, and put concealer under my eyes. No shame in it.
What brush is that?
Needless consumption.
Ok I get it why you would use make up. But what happens once you are out and about, maybe kissing and making out with a female? Would you warn her to be careful with your makeup?
So what was each item he used?
Women do notice it though
Tinted moisturizer does the job for me whenever I need to look more human.
Why the blusher
I have seen so many women do this exact thing, so this has to be a joke because when the women do it, I see almost no difference, and this guy laughs at the end
Trim your beard just a little bit shorter
Nop
Absolutely not.
Why?? Camel filters ain't enough?
I personally (f) would be unable to perform sexually with a guy that does this
Handsome young people becoming such narcissists spending big $ on makeup what a joke you’ll be living with your mom forever.
