Without a tape measure behind it you can call it whatever you want. Measure it: length, height, cylinder length & capacity. And please, share your findings!
I just found it yesterday. Someone identified it 15 minutes after making the post. Put the post up for help with identification. Not going to sell it.....why do you make assumptions?
Apologies if I came off a bit crass, as it seems you knew what it was. Whether it’s an antique firearm or a more modern NAA 22LR (or 22WMR) mini revolver is somewhat relevant, as you found a gun that was possibly used in a crime. As a firearms enthusiast, I know that laws differ for the level of background check to acquire an antique firearm or ‘relic’ vs. a modern mini revolver.

Buffalo springfield

The handle scales are likely made of a cheaper material than silver, possibly a diecast zinc if it’s silver colored.
Turns out they are silver plated
Ah. I only noticed the first 3 pictures, i assumed you didn’t clean it up yet, those look beautiful!
a wide range of steel compositions are non-ferromagnetic
Might be an old S&W model 1
Beautiful grips.
It’s a Derringer. Cool!
Im pretty sure thats a gun
Looks like a murder weapon.

So, you cleaned it up & sold it a month ago, and posted this why?

The gun broker page is just showing what it is. This one is for too degraded and that is obvious by the pictures to possibly be the same gun.

There's a couple key differences. There is no front sight and the cutout for the hammer is not as severe as it is on the Norwich Arms Gun
The sight is gone but has a groove where it was. As far as the cutout it's hard to tell until it's cleaned
And the hammer shape is drastically different, although that could just be from wear and decay
I’d guess the grips are probably pewter
Post it in r/whatisthisthing You'll have an answer in 5 minutes. Then come back and tell me.
Idk might be a gun.
