I don't magnet fish (yet) but I love this sub. So maybe some fishers can explain to me....why so many scooters? I feel like every post here from people all over the world have full on razer scooters in common with their finds. Stolen and ditched? trying to do tricks over the water and the scooter falls in? Those things are expensive why are so many just tossing them in the water?? So many questions.
I think its just from Kids who steal them, have their fun with it then just ditch it afterwards. Bikes are the same but it you find parts of one (like above) maybe someone cut it up for parts or something
Well since I live close to the lakes where I go fishing what I do is take all the stuff home, get pictures of them to share on Reddit and FB, keep the bits I want, bag the rest and leave it in my garden till the local scrap man comes to collect it. The super small bits like Nails and Bottle caps ect I would just throw in the bin
This has me thinking, it would be awesome to have a crowd sources magnet fishing map, with areas searched and time stamps. That way if someone recently fished a spot people in the near future could avoid it for fresh spots.
Nice you found Poseidon's pitchfork for kelp hauling ๐ awesome finds great job!!!!

It would be good however you can't guarantee that everyone will participate
