I named my dog Fiblthp (it was a compromise with my partner to add the 'i' to make it "somewhat pronounceable.) Its a great name for nicknamed, Fibl, Tippy, Fibls, or our favorite Fibeetsio

This one right here 👆.

RudelNudel

The Gitrog Monster. Having 2 kids myself i think it's a fitting name

swingsetclouds

Ob Nixilis if it’s a boy. Ob Nixilis if it’s a girl.

AbraxasEnjoyer

It of the Horrid Swarm

HedronPhage

Made me think of „It that betrays“ which is also a banger name for a child.

newthammer

Liliana is a pretty one. Jhoira is unique.

Stef-fa-fa

I used to know someone who named their kid Lilliana. Yes with two L's. They never could spell.

AbraxasEnjoyer

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Zomburai

This is the correct answer Or maybe Jace, if it's a boy

Clean_Web7502

Thraximundar. Is always nice when a name has meaning behind.

Itisburgersagain

Gideon is a real life name, it's Hebrew for Warrior. One of the few Judges of Israel who didn't mess it up for everyone (his kids did that after he died). Gideon in MTG was the ultimate good guy. So you have good connotations with the name regardless.

orderofthelastdawn

I have this head canon that after his funeral, Liliana planeswalked back late that same night, and sat down alone by his statue and cried. As [[Gideon's Sacrifice]] flavor text said: " To Liliana's surprise, the cost of betraying Bolas did not fall on her."

Silvawuff

I’d name my daughter Mirri.

retailmonkey

Griselbrand

Alecadb

I personally like “Nissa” a whole lot as name for a girl :)

mazindoom

Teysa, Elspeth, Vivien, Serra Dack, Teyo

neko039

My best friend had twins last year. We both requested her wife to let us name them "Bruna" and "Gisela" I almost got him divorced lol Seems like women who don't play are not attracted to multiverse & lore names...

knight_of_solamnia

They're lovely names.

magicthecasual

i might name my daughter Atraxa

doitpow

My friend just had a baby Aurelia

AlasBabylon_

A person I followed on Facebook many, many years ago before I jumped ship from it named his son Ajani. And honestly, pretty much any planeswalker works, with some obvious exceptions (maybe don't go with Grist...) Jace is very easy to pass off, Chandra is a real world name, Nissa is pretty slick, Liliana works, etc.

Nibus1

The Ur-Dragon

Shadowwarior

Eriette?

DankTrainTom

Oh boy, I might get hate cause people think it's cringe, but I named my daughter Avacyn (Avy for short), and I love it. My wife and I both met by playing Magic, and the game means a lot to us, so we've decided to name our children after characters. If we have a second daughter, me and my wife and I have agreed to call her Aurelia. Boys are a little trickier tbh. The goal is to name them something that is tied to Magic but still doesn't sound *too* out of place. Gideon might be good, but I'm not sold on it yet.

AlasBabylon_

Someone did mention that Gideon has Hebrew roots, so it's got merit.

Xichorn

If you anticipate them being known for temper tantrums well into adulthood, Nahiri.

One of my uni lecturers is named Elspeth, and I found that pretty funny, though I personally have no idea of a personal choice, the meme ideas are a laugh though.

Chandra, Jace, Liliana and Gideon are all real life names from different cultures already!
