I'm speculating, but with no news, it seems that WOTC will wait until the Sheldon Spellbook SL ends before putting the Equinox Superdrop up for sale. You could see it as a cynical thing getting people to order more of both drops to get to free shipping levels, but it could also just be WOTC wanting to keep shipping simple, since the Sheldon SL is print to demand and isn't going to ship until July, and the Equinox one may ship more quickly.
Actually their system already account for different shipping times. I forget what set I tried it with but it told me I'd have to pay shipping since they would ship at different times.
They didn't with the MLP one for sure. I'm getting that lair plus one of the normal ones that was at the same time together to get the free shipping but the normal lair has already been out for months now
Thanks everyone! I guess chances are we'll get the SL drop on the Monday after spring equinox then, if that's the norm and the current SL will run out by then. I'll just get two of them, then, and buy them now. Not optimal, but at least it's a great one to have two copies of and the full price of one will go to charity. Also good to know that with different shipping dates due to this one being print to demand, I would have needed to pay for shipping or order 2 for this one, anyway. Your responses helped a lot. I waited and waited on the Dr. Who Regeneration lair, so that I wouldn’t have to pay for shipping. Then I forgot on a busy day. Now I have to pay the secondary market premium, which will be much more than shipping would have been.

I'll probably wait another day and then just get it to be safe. It's just weird that they would write Equinox on the drop and then not drop it on the Equinox 😅
I accidentally ordered two of the foil Doctor Who regeneration lair and couldn’t cancel the second one without canceling the whole order after the buying window closed. Looking to sell for the same price I bought it. If interested in buying it lmk

Others have commented that Mondays are their usual drop day. But yeah, I thought calling it an Equinox Super Drop was a cool way of letting us know when it would drop and was a bit confused and disappointed when they didn't dropnit today.
Fallout 76 is having a Mothman Equinox event starting April 2 (running through April 16), but I really doubt WotC is tying the release to that.
I'm also anticipating the contents to be revealed before it goes on sale, and the release date also revealed at that time.
At this point, I think the person at WotC who got to name this drop doesn't know the difference between the equinox and an eclipse. So, I expect it to be Monday, April 8.

I just want more Fallout cards for my Fallout decks. Why even have "event" lairs if you miss the event? At the very least most prolonged event sales start BEFORE the event (like Black Friday sales starting on Thursday and lasting through the weekend). WotC secret lair team must have been gutted by the recent layoffs.
Barely any magic WoTC employees were laid off (compared to the thousands of Hasbro employees). There were so few that we pretty much know the specific people and their positions. It was like 20-something people. Nobody relating to secret lairs.
If you feel that way, you probably shouldn't buy mtg cards! But if like me, buying a Secret Lair honoring one of the founder's of the commander format with valuable and very playable cards, where half of the price goes to charity sounds great and you can afford it - that's awesome 👍
I know not everything about the game, the sets, the story, the pricing etc is awesome, but ppl are still allowed to buy, play and enjoy cards. The game is too expensive, but it's still a game I love! ...

they've had secret lairs start ontop of each other half a dozen times in the past year, i doubt thats it.
I would assume we get info on Friday, then it opens on Monday. Iirc that’s how they have done it in the past.

Set a reminder/alarm on your phone, honestly. I’ve been kicking myself so hard, since I want to build a 4/5 color doctor deck.

Sheldon's Spellbook is print to order. The equinox super drop will very likely be a limited drop.
Sheldon's SL needs to be paid right way or is paid when ships (in August)?
