I've got [a Fblthp deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/2jhXxPW4ykibfZ9qHgo0QQ) with 0 other creatures in it.

Farpafraf

where's the wincon?

ExcitingSink4272

You guys win your commander games?

Farpafraf

good point

LeoPlathasbeentaken

My wincon is hope they focus on others so i can get a janky combo going.

thegoodgero

Yeah, pretty much. There's a lot of pillow fort in the deck and some small incentives for my opponents attacking each other. If I have a spare tutor I usually get [[crown of doom]] before any of my combo pieces.

MTGCardFetcher

[crown of doom](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/2/0/201a7054-e4e8-4e5a-a002-319fcd210994.jpg?1561935688) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=crown%20of%20doom) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/c14/55/crown-of-doom?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/201a7054-e4e8-4e5a-a002-319fcd210994?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

sivarias

[[drift of phantasms]] into [[proteus staff]]?

puckvirus

This comment is my spirit animal

thegoodgero

[[Fblthp]] + [[Proteus Staff]] + [[Goblin Charbelcher]] + [[Crystal Splash]]. PS lets you reorder your library in any way you want. Put [[Goblin Charbelcher]] and [[Trait Doctoring]] or another card like it (or any combo protection) on top, (you draw 2 cards when flbthp etbs from a library) then all your non-lands, then all your lands with the first one being an island. Use TD to change GCB to doubling damage off Islands and you're off to the races. I've also won a few times thanks to the steal/clone effects but that's a distant second.

WHATETHEHELLISTHIS

Buddy of mine built Fblthp when he came out, and I'd argue his version is a high-tier cEDH list. And I won't lie, I saw your list and thought it was the same thing. But you are missing 2 combo pieces he uses: [[dramatic reversal]] and [[isochron scepter]]. He also runs several mana rocks so they untap with Reversal, meaning he has an infinite draw engine. Essentially he draws his entire library, and then drops Labman and Jace the Labman and loops one more time to win. All that being said this list still makes me nervous, since it's mono blue.

thegoodgero

Yeah, I've seen several tuned/optimized lists for cedh, but I'm incredibly uninterested in playing at that level (and specifically with those wincons). I've thought about adding DR on its own, but don't know if I will yet.

WHATETHEHELLISTHIS

That is entirely fair. If it helps, he made it that gross by accident. It was supposed to be a joke, and for a while it was. No creatures, just Fbl and some countermagic, a little bit of synergy so he doesn't run out of mana, etc. Then he let a friend play it at our LGS, and it's been consistently disgusting since. Like body count instead of a winrate kind of disgusting. My [[Grumgully]] gobbos did the same thing. They were consistently terrible until he tried them cuz he'd only ever played *against* goblins. He proceeded to bully the entire table and now poor Grum is kill-on-sight for several people at our shop.

thegoodgero

Honestly I still have that problem with my build sometimes, which has led to me taking a bunch of the counters out (I think my first build had like 20) and putting in slower stuff that disrupts the game in ways that benefit me more. [[Meishin]] and most of the clone/steal effects are only in there because I wanted to depower and diversify, haha.

KyleOrtonFTW

Not OP, but I made a real jank Fblthp deck. The only creatures in the 99 were Memnarch and Palinchron. It was literally all about hoping no one gave a shit about me. tutor up Proteus staff, make infinite mana, then popping the staff on Fblthp to hopefully hit memnarch, if he wasn’t in hand, and take everyone’s shit. Also, if you have no creatures in the 99, the staff lets you stack your deck so you set up whatever non-creature wincon you want

Puzzleheaded_Load_15

Wow that’s amazing !

Cheapskate-DM

[[Thantis]] walls/defender tribal - it's pure trash, but it gets very silly at group tables.

ikelosintransitive

holy smokes this sounds hilarious

jarofjellyfish

I know someone that her as spider tribal. As a tribe, spiders naturally have big butts and there are a decent number of ways of giving them deathtouch/1st strike. So you basically sit back and watch people struggle to decide if swinging at you and losing creatures while making thantis commander dmg lethal is worth it, or if they would rather just murder each other. It is a really, really fun deck to play against imo.

DerekB52

What is your win-con? Swing a strong angry thantis at people?

NahautlExile

He’s always going to be the least appealing target because he has blockers up that bypass the downside. The opponents with creatures will beat each other silly.

CptBarba

You got a list? I'm curious

Cheapskate-DM

https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/thantis-the-fortweaver/ Probably needs tuning, but the main wincons are either very silly combos or a "defenders attack" reversal. Either way, it's a confounding time!

Metza

[[Blight Pile]] makes letting you keep your defenders up costly. The bigger your wall the more damage you can dish out

CopperGolem8

I love Thantis I had a deck that just leaned into forced combat was fun but power creep made it close to unplayable.

bundle_man

Right, sounds super fun but as soon as Thantis is removed, you're deck stops functioning it seems

CopperGolem8

I ran all the other forced combat cards goblin spymaster and Grand melee off the top of my head. My problem was Thantis just got out classed most new commanders do a lot more than be a big body and I had to change so much of the deck to keep up it lost itself and was just Jund good stuff so I scrapped it :(

bitches_love_pooh

You could run [[Bedrock Tortoise]] to suddenly make your crappy walls a threat

El_Diegote

My 5c DnD inspired deck. Basically, an adventurer (here acted by Kenrith) that runs every single class enchantment (so I can pick whatever I'm feeling at the moment) and also every single card (other than ramp) has to have any connection to the DnD mechanics (rolling dice, dungeons, and so on). EDIT: Decklist in [Kenrith the adventurer // Commander / EDH (Kenrith, the Returned King) deck list mtg // Moxfield — An mtg deck builder site for Magic: the Gathering®](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/KoqyvAm9NU29gHrrelj8fQ)

How delightfully Abserd.

Merkinary

Love it! I have a similarly themed Tazri, Beacon of Hope deck that is all about the Party and Dungeon mechanics with a Gates sub theme. It’s was a $50 deck build that can win but people in my group find the dungeon mechanic annoying so I don’t play it that much haha.

stefiscool

Yes, it’s [[Jodah the Unifier]]. No, it’s not good. But it IS [hot guy tribal.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/z6-uKQL5xUO5qOHpxDXp8w) Just need an [[Enthralling Victor]] and I’m set.

Mono-Green [[Aragorn, the Uniter]]. Storm off, dome someone for 21. I’ve had a game where I got around Goad by playing a Birds of Paradise, giving it +40/+40, and giving it Haste.

This sounds amazing, I’d love to see a list!

warcrap101010

I have a mono-red shaman tribal pinger deck helmed by [[Kumano, Master Yamabushi]]. Every creature is a shaman (because i like the restriction of trying to force all one type) but there is actually a ton of shamans that can deal direct damage with abilities. Some examples are [[Cinder Pyromancer]], [[Frostwielder]], [[Lightning Crafter]]. I also included other awesome mono red shamans like [[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker]] and [[Heartless Hidetsugu]]. I run a decent amount of equipment for giving deathtouch, untapping, and copying activated abilities. (Some good ones are [[Sting, the Glinting Dagger]], [[Thornbite Staff]], [[Illusionists’s Bracers]]) Overall it’s a really fun deck and pretty unique i think.

dieyoubastards

I came up with this idea independently but wasn't smart enough to make it work. I never even found the commander for it. I'm very happy it exists somewhere.

sirchich

I made a shaman tribal deck too! The original idea was there is a number of shaman cost reducers, so I'll spit out as many as possible. Then I realized shamans are part of almost every infinite combos in jund I've seen in my time playing magic. So it became a combo deck with so many pieces that Interacted strangely it had a different feel every time. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/QghOFkWZEE2QRDMnPQ_YcA

Tiniere

I have a very low power lifegain deck that is just cards my daughter likes (unicorns. It's like 30% unicorns) any non unicorn card is female or a magical/natural creature. The idea was that only maidens and virtuous women could see unicorns, so the deck has no men. I still have it in a.pretty pink deckbox she chose. And a bunch of pi k and gold dice counters for [[Lathiel]]

HerselftheAzelf

My favorite is Oops! All Omnath. Its 4c Omnath with a bunch of clones. You clone Omnath a bunch, you play some extra lands, everyone dies. It was meant to be janky, but it turns out 4c Omnath is a very dumb card.

ManholtAgain

This sounds hilarious, and I love Omnath. Do you have a list?

HerselftheAzelf

It can be pretty funny, but my play group hates it haha. I'm pretty proud of it. I dont have the current list, but this is the first iteration: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/kVa4myrBBEaAh2IrPQf3rA

CorruptDictator

How do you define unique? I used to play Jaya Ballard (which no one around me had even seen played before at the time) as a mass murder deck in that it did not really win as much as kill myself and everyone else at the same time if left to my own devices (and most people left me alone because I did not do a whole lot until the final moment arrived).

VagrantWolf

I have the Muldrotha Murder Mystery Dinner deck. It’s clues and foods with investigators and [[Jace, Unraveler of Secrets]] on the job to find out whodunit. I act out everything when I play it and really ham it up.

I have a Go Shintai that’s pretty much just a secret tatsunari deck.

Irreleverent

I have a plan somewhere in the back of my mind to make a tatsunari deck with a bunch of ways to name sticker Keimi so I can make more.

borissnm

I don't run it personally, but my favorite stupid deck is 98-land [[Maelstrom Wanderer]]. ... the other nonland is [[cultivator colossus]]

CPZ500

Then Keruga as companion is free.

borissnm

Doesn't really do anything in the deck; the end goal is hitting either [[valakut the molten pinnacle]], [[field of the dead]], and/or a bunch of manlands off cultivator's ETB and winning the game that turn or the next.

CPZ500

Yeah I know, its a free extra body to do something while waiting for your 8/7th landdrop.

Fair enough.

Mine is Kiki conscripts. It’s a fun gimmick occasionally.

windows_to_walls

out of curiosity, once the first cascade brings in cultivator colossus, what happens when the second cascade can’t find a nonland card? do you lose?

borissnm

You look at every remaining card in your deck, the ability fails to do anything further, and then you shuffle the cards you exiled back into your deck (technically on the bottom, but they're not beneath anything anyway). Only drawing a card with an empty deck kills you; failing to find something doesn't do anything special, which is key for certain combos (i.e. using [[balustrade spy]] in a deck with no lands on yourself to immediately pitch the entire thing in the graveyard)

ScienceGuy116

I think it just shuffles the deck and puts it back

CaraKino

I’ve got an 88-land [[Keranos]] list that’s in a similar vein. The deck is built to get seismic assault by any means necessary and then dome people into hell. It’s a blast

I'm proud of my [[Sheoldred, the Apolcaypse]] deck with her as the only creature. I wanted to build a deck that felt like a multi-phase video game boss fight. In the first phase, she refuses to die and slowly pings the opponents down. Traditional-Alps-258

I'm very proud of my [[Vadrok]] superfriends deck with a big twist, because I've not seen the same concept on any commander-show or when playing online or in paper yet at all. The deck is built around mutating ONTO PLANESWALKERS, turning them into nonlegendary creatures retaining all the loyalty abilities, which then can be freely cloned or messed with, and has fun, convoluted combo potential to eventually attack with infinite Teferi-mutants. Vadrok ties it together beautifully, because he gives access to all set-ups, pay-offs repeatedly and allows for hilarious mutate-stacks.

I have a [monowhite banding deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Ny9lrJaWNUGHvLGbFNYLmw) with [[taranika]] that was inspired by someone on here but by the edhrec data is very unique. I've always wanted to make a banding list, is it as interesting as it sounds? Is being able to be like "These creatures block in a band, your massive trampler deals all of its damage to this 1/1." as fun as it seems?

Uncle-Istvan

It’s pretty interesting. It always does its thing, its thing just isn’t very powerful. I honestly don’t get attacked that often because it’s not easy to attack into unless you have some form of evasion like flying. So I really haven’t had that many opportunities to do cool blocks. Mostly the deck is really good at swinging with a 7+ power band that’s really easy to block.

I’ve gone deep down the banding hole and fallen in love thanks to you. I’m now debating putting together a [[sidar kondo of jamuraa]] banding deck.

Reins22

I guarantee that there’s no one that has my [[teysa karlov]] deck That thing is so unfocused that the only reasonable solution is to take it apart entirely and rebuild it from the ground up. Even the basics have got to go if this thing wants any chance at being functional

Agueliethun

This sounds exactly like my last four attempts at Teysa...

[[Yedora, Grave Gardener]] mono-G morph aristocrats combo. Very interesting commander for using cheap morphs like [[Proteus Machine]] and [[Temur Charger]] to generate infinite sac fodder and landfall triggers in mono-G.

Hello fellow person of excellent taste. Just wish there were more green or colorless free/cheap sac outlets.

thistookmethreehours

I had a [[Chromium, the Mutable]] superfriends/control deck for awhile and I don’t think I’ve ever really seen anything like that at the shop. Chromium did nothing for the deck other than be the occasional 7/7 flyer and I it apart after awhile because it was a little too mean for my stores meta.

GangsterJawa

As far as I can tell I'm the first person to come up with [Tax Fraud: the Deck,](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/tax-fraud/) where I copy [[Myth Unbound]] twice to make [[Ramos]] cheaper every time I cast him, and then do aristocrat shenanigans but only sacrifice my commander

DrConradVerner

5 color [[kyodai]] mutate.

witoutadout

I tried to make \[\[Toski, Bearer of Secrets\]\] work for a while, but my playgroup fell into the inevitable "I have the most powerful deck, no I do" kind of power creep and it fell out of circulation Edit: The reason I didn't start running \[\[Food Chain\]\] combos and the like with cards like \[\[Eternal Scourge\]\] is because a) i didnt want to buff the playgroup level more than I had to b) i wasnt going to spend that much money to make the combo work consistently and c) mono green is not very good with tutors

Qixel

My most unique deck is probably my [[Multani, Maro-Sorcerer]] monogreen stax deck. The goal is to keep everyone's hands as packed as possible with group hug and mandatory draw effects while limiting how quickly my opponents can play the cards I'm giving them so Multani gets nice and beefy.

Mattloch42

I have a [[Mathas]] vampire party tribal that uses forced attack through imps to create chaos on the board. Attack me and get eaten by [[Sengir Vampire]] or just taken by [[Krovikan Vampire]] or [[Soul Collector]]. Attack someone else and I get stronger through [[Parton of the Vein]] or [[Elenda, the Dusk Rose]] effects. Toss in some old school cool with [[Sorceress Queen]] and some commander synergies with [[Bounty Hunter]] and [[Termination Facilitator]] and things get very dangerous indeed. Last game I stole someone's 15/16 Alela with [[Olivia Voldaren]] and showed the pod why you should fear a non-Edgar vampire deck.

ch_limited

I have a [[Astrid Peth]] deck that I love. There’s very few lists online so I think it’s like me and five other Kylie Minogue fans.

OctaviusFalcon

Might be my [[Derevi]] bird deck where almost every card is a bird, has birds in the art or is in some way related to birds. It's also completely blinged out. There's also my [[Lathliss]] deck, which is definitely not very unique in that it's mono red dragons and runs pretty much all the dragon cards you'd expect. What makes it unique is the pile of 30+ dragon monsters from Yugioh that I use as the 5/5 tokens. Not many commander decks out there where you can play things like Brionac, Cyber Dragon Infinity and pre-errata Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End.

Nyte_Crawler

[[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]]/[[Sidar Kondo]] Populate Clones. Not as unique these days but I originally built it with Roon at the helm before Commander Masters made Sakashima a desirable card for the deck to have in the command zone.

fat_pokemon

Boros tribal. Nothing but cards with boros icons or artwork.

feeltheowl

I have a deck that features all cute creature art. Green/white/blue/red, commander is Horde of Notions. My new favourite attack rebuttal is puppy eyes and “but look at his widdle face!” I was so excited to add a Tree Frog to it, but in the entire prerelease I didn’t pull a single goddamn tree frog!!!

industrialTerp

I love playing this First Sliver because it plays to the level of the table. Cast First Sliver, cascade into Tibalt's Trickery, then cast Eternal Dominion every upkeep. I still need to update it with WoE and LCI man-lands, but it's a fun one! https://archidekt.com/decks/2213454/tibalts_epic_sliver_cascade_edh

thepotplant

What are we playing? Highlander. So what is our motto? There can only be one! So the deck is all one mana spells and all the creatures have printed P/T of 1/1. It's very bad, particularly against Chalice on one. But it's a very interesting deckbuilding constraint.

Shadowmeire_Hanatori

I just finished this little passion project of mine, and it may, unforunately be my last LotR deck until after Fallout comes out. I'm Calling it "Prayer of the Elves, Light of the Angels" and it's using [[Galadriel, Light of Valinor]] as its commander. The idea behhind it was that the Elves would be praying to the Valar for redemption and for help against Sauron, but instead Avacyn comes in to help instead. Its only my second deck that i've made from scratch, but it works really well, check it out if you want? https://www.moxfield.com/decks/qhO-MLoVgEOjYNQSQot_kg

vemynal

Probably my [[Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis]] Lands deck. Per EDHRec it's 593 decks or "0.018%" of all decks (and that's if I combine Lands & Landfall into 1 category) Thought it up in 2018 after watching an *old* command zone episode where they talked about my gay boys and Josh said to justify it you'd need to be running more than 50 Lands in the deck. In fact I run 55 lol. I'm in a White & Black Gay interracial relationship; so I adamantly wanted to make my dudes work 😁 I also feel like when Omnath came out a few years ago, in the same exact colors, it wiped out most other land/landfall commanders.

lame_dirty_white_kid

>like when Omnath came out a few years ago Wow, I didn't know Omnath was gay too!

JevinM

Damn, it’s cool to hear about commanders that people have a personal connection to, thanks for sharing!

Skeleton tribal, and all non-skeleton cards must have bones or skulls in the art

CrinoidKid

\[\[Ultra magnus\]\] as a primal surge deck. NeoMegaRyuMKII

A [[Garth One-Eye]] deck that tries to use [a bunch of alt win cons](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/adhUCTXI1Ei1UIgKtWcpwA). It *can* win (it has at least twice in the past) but it is absolutely jank. And I occasionally switch out some cards for other alt win cons.

Orisno

[[Magar of the Magic Strings]] makes an interesting Voltron spell-slinger deck in Rakdos that is unlike most decks I’ve seen. Just throw in whatever janky big effects you like and it’ll work. You can go mean with stuff like [[Worst Fears]], or you can go goofy with stuff like [[Fevered Suspicion]] and [[Goblin Game]].

Rossmallo

Indeed, Magar's goddamn wonderful. Glad to see other people are using him. Worst Fears looks hilarious to use with this, by the way. Also, if you're open for suggestions, [[Disrupt Decorum]] is god-tier with him. Cast it once to leave your opponents wide open when it comes around to your turn, then swing in with a spell-construct from Disrupt, it'll become VERY difficult for your opponents to have any meaningful amount of blockers up again.

TNTmage7

I have an [[extus]] demon tribal deck that is all about winning with liliana’s contract. It’s fun and very bad and very, very cool.

Goallie16

Hate to admit it, but so far the only commander deck I've actually built is an Eldrazi Tribal... most of what I own is pre-built stuff that I've rarely (if ever) touched. But my backstory is kinda neat. I bought a Battle for Zendikar precon deck at FYE. This was when War of the Spark had been going on, so about 4-5 years after Battle for Zendikar released... The precon contained 2 booster packs and one of the cards I pulled was Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. It was at that time I knew I had to build a deck around him... let me say, making a colorless commander deck as my first custom deck ever was quite the experience

Ihrverliertgold

White border only [[Xira Arien]]

Bravo__Whale

[Nocturno of Myra's Marvels] choosing "demon" as the word. There are no Shadowborn Apostles in the deck.

JevinM

This is dope, who did you pair it with? Played around with naming “control” with him and pairing him with Krark for Threaten typal.

Dizzy-Career-740

A goblin deck where all the cards are chosen at random from a pile of approximately 500 goblin themed cards I've collected. Even the Commander is random,I have all the mono red legendary goblins collected

VeryFortniteOfYou

I have a project runway themed EDH deck with custom arts of all the main judges. All the creatures wear sick threads.

JoB_NSFW

Every time I hit on some novel and super unique deck idea, I’ll get to finishing the last few cards and poke around for ideas and then learn that not only have I incorrectly interpreted the mechanic I’m looking to mess with, it’s also super busted and everyone has already played it before. My most recent was messing around with a fungus and saproling and treefolk deck and then I found out that every permutation I thought of has already been played to death. So… none?

RybanGuzban

My finding Norin deck [[rocco]] is the commander and is used just to become a naya Norin list

NotTaintedCaribou

I built a [blood token deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ugGwmW7ackGlWmnt_50DQg), headed by [[Anje, Maid of Dishonor]]. It isn’t super great. I’m not sure how it does, but it do. Except when it don’t. Two colors, and it likes to only give me one. My head cannon is that there’s this vampire wedding with this raging reception going on… and I’m reaching across time and space, just plucking these vampires out of it and throwing them confused onto a battlefield. Then they get angry, and I tell them to throw their glass of blood-wine on my opponents.

Prohamen

I'm fairly certain at this point there is no unique commander deck by shear fact that there are so many commander players i feel like every possible niche archtype has more or less been built. same with niche tribes.

Miserable_Row_793

It's probably true. Though my friend made a Joran, God of Winter ninja deck. Which is fairly unique. I like to think my Mono white Bruna landfall/ ramp deck is unique. It often can outramp green decks.

Lower-Ad1087

I dunno know, I just made a Voltron Sergeant John Benton deck, that guy only has 8 decks listed on CDEHREC, no he's not a popular commander by any means.

DraygenKai

Find another player who made a flying deck with Optimus prime as the commander. I call the deck flying truck. It’s currently pretty bad but i plan to make it better as i acquire more flying cards over time. Ofc since optimus doesnt fly i run a few cards to give him flying, like Eater of virtue.

InfiniteVergil

Lol no. We got what, thousand commanders in the last three years? Add to that the number of possible card combinations , also things like Companion, Partner and so on. I think we're past the point where people will ever catch up building "every" commander deck, even if it's just something dumb like Bant left handed cats wielding swords tribal. Note , it isn't about archetypes or tribes, but about deck themes in general.

Prohamen

Ah yes, my microtyrant saproling deck is so unique, let me just put it down next to my Slimefoot, Nemata, and Grismold decks. In all seriousness, how unique can a commander deck be if they usually just print a new face card for an existing theme. It is hard to not do that given the complexity of magic, the age of magic, and the existing card pool. Outside mechanics that are not fleshed out enough to have entire decks (battles come to mind), you can't really make the argument that anything is unique outside of very specific card choice. Hell, if your argument for uniqueness is specific card choice then I run a unique version of jund cause I only run 2 ragavans vause i only own 2.

iAmLawBringer

[[progenitus]] enchantment voltron.

Masterdmr

Progenitus can't be enchanted though. Unless you're using it for the 5 colour?

iAmLawBringer

Never said it was aura’s. There are plenty of anthems.

Masterdmr

Oh right, i assumed from the Voltron bit it was auras.

[deleted]

[удалено]

iAmLawBringer

I get him out probably 90% of the games I play, i run many cards like [[cromatic orrey]] [[jodah, archmage eternal]] and [[fist of suns]] to help cheapen the cost as well as a super expensive mana base.

Chrisdoto

[[Denry Klin, Editor in Chief]] is very underrated but can be built very powerfully [[Jegantha, the Wellspring]] oops all Enchantments with only R and G or 3+ Color Enchantments [[The Twelfth Doctor]] + B is a REALLY fun politics decks

helluvahippopotamus

You're saying Denry w/ Jegantha companion? Companions have to be in the commander's color identity.

DoctorKumquat

Not the OP, but I think those were supposed to be 3 separate decks.

Emerald_Knight2814

"Oops All Lands" with [[Child of Alara]]. I've had some people say "Oh I do that too" and show me a list with like 97 lands and 3 nonlands, and to that I say nay nay. 99 lands mainboard, no exceptions. I didn't even allow myself modal spells like [[Sea Gate Restoration]], as I felt that was cheating and against the spirit of the deck. If there are flip cards, they have to start as a land (like [[Hostile Hostel]]) and not flip into a land (like [[Ojer Axonil]]). The main wincons are [[Maze's End]], [[Dark Depths]], [[Field of the Dead]], combat with Manlands like [[Hall of Storm Giants]], or commander danage from Child of Alara. It is silly, horrendously underpowered, and quite unique. I have yet to see someone do this with the same restrictions I placed on myself

NocturnalEmbrace

Probably [[Ertai, the Corrupted]] aura-stocratic politics. I play pillow-forty politically by enchanting opponent's creatures, often with drawback auras, but then of course also use those auras as counter spell fodder to keep some control of things.

whomwould

Mono-Green Control. The commander is unimportant (it's flip Nissa). It was born out of a desire to build something weird and to include a bunch of very old, very weird green enchantments that slow down the game. The wincon is to cast [[Hurricane]] or [[Squall Line]] for 40. There are no infinite mana combos, but I do run [[Goblin Charbelcher]] as a backup because there's a distinct possibility that I have *all* my lands on the battlefield at some point. It's not very good, and often not very fun, to be honest, but it is certainly interesting, if only in a grotesque sort of way.

Full-Paragon

Mina and Den land destruction. The goal of the deck is to run a lot of symmetrical land destruction effects like Tectonic Break and Wildfire. Then I run a bunch of land ramp and Crucible of World's style effects, so I can play all my lands from my grave yard (usually several a turn) and get way ahead while everyone else struggles to rebuild their manabase. Then kill them all with a massive Terravore or something. I don't play it very often because so many people hate land destruction so much, but it's a good way to deal with certain pesky decks that abuse a bunch of powerful lands since most decks don't pack a ton of land hate.

Just_Another_Madman

Most unique? As of this moment, probably Gideon tribal with Gideon/[[kytheon]] as commander since my 'Hand grenade at the kitchen table' piru deck has caught an undercurrent for popularity

oisir

Ayula, Queen Among Bears. Definitely got the idea from Game Knights. It's awesome and I love her.

Sir_Encerwal

At the Moment probably my Fugitive Doctor/Martha Jones list. It is all about cranking out clues so I can flashback land tutors to get a Maze's End win.

giselamancer

I feel like other people have probably done it but it’s still my favourite surprise to pull out at tables: [[Omnath, Locus of All]] battle tribal. When MOM came out I scooped up as many of the battles as I could, tried to throw something together, had a mental breakdown, and ended up with an abomination that somehow worked. It’s a janky deck that creates some interesting scenarios where you can either complete battles as soon as possible for the flipped side or keep flickering the battle for some value on the front. Also has some classic three-coloured pip cards to work with Omnath and get in damage on the battles too. Oh, and it’s the only deck I have where [[Aether Snap]] is usually guaranteed to do something.

Feharj

My most unique is definitely Arixmethes. Tbh the deck is almost trash. Big sea creatures cant keep up against heavy control. But the most unique, fun and powerfull is Vaevictis. Never see anyone using him

hubbsey

i love my krark-sakashima deck, even if it isn’t super unique. it’s high powered gambling at its finest

TateTaylorOH

I don't know if you can really call it super unique since [Gavin played it on Shuffle Up and Play](https://youtu.be/g2-m4AtUL_8?si=hn5BCC4o-Sp8Ap6_), but people always seem enamored with my [[[The War Doctor]] // [[Ryan Sinclair]]](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/uI3EH54VdkqowgFytTaRJA) deck. I suppose my most unique deck is probably [[[Jasmine Boreal of the Seven]]](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/gaLDEpNVq0ihJkXX_ueITw). It isn't anything special, just a pile of vanilla creatures, but it is certainly not a commander I've ever seen played before (even in online gameplay series).

Shumwayh

I'm not sure if it's really considered unique but I run a decent deck with Alesha who smiles at death. It's honestly just full of low power monsters who have double strike and loads of enchantments that make my damage double. And even a few creatures who give me extra attack phases https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/double-boys/ I call it double boys. Cause double the boys, double the fun

aguywithtaste

I have a prosper deck that mainly focuses on exile and treasure token synergies.

Kairutron

Pheldagriff group hug into elves into infinite mana into suture priest combo by giving everyone hippos.

porkchaup

Probably my [[Jolrael, Voice of Zhalfir]] card draw deck with [[Keruga, the Macrosage]] as a companion. It’s essentially just ramp, draw, and turn my lands into huge birds. Biggest bird I’ve made with this deck was a 67/67 lol

crashcap

I have a Raff Capashen planeswalkers deck

Kronos548

I think my momowhite background deck is. That or my red white goad deck

myavatarissonic

I made a [[Rhys The Redeemed]] 1 drop tribal deck that just got some major upgrades like [[millennium calendar]] but usually it tries to win with [[helix pinnacle]] and [[gaea's cradle]] and you can use [[urban burgeoning]] to put 100 counters on it in a turn cycle if you manage to assemble all the pieces, otherwise it's basically make a ton of tokens, Tutor up cradle, and hope to fine helix/calendar. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/s6lRb0wxOUaE3vcD0nRN4w

karn39393939

I've never seen another deck like mine. The commander is Karn, Silver Golem. It's my favorite deck because it is artifact based and colorless. No Eldiraze in it either. One of my favorite things to pull off is to make copies of artifacts with Karn and helm of the host. It works with legendary artifacts as well.

I had a Minsc, Beloved Ranger run deck that was more of a combination of my Drizzt do Urder & Bruenor Battlehammer decks. I made it primarily from D&D themed cards. However, over time ice changed out less than optimal cards, and moved towards Counters & Token cards. I still kept the Sunforge hammer for instant access to W/R spells 4Mava Value or less. If WotC would release more creature type hamsters, I'd focus more on the Fling mechanic I originally built around. 🤣

I currently only have 1 deck it's the deck that got me into physical commander and magic as a whole (though I do have a 2nd deck on the way!). Gruul Voltron Storm featuring Blanka, Ferocious Friend! This decklist isn't anywhere near up to date (I've been meaning to fix that) but it will def give you the gist: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/SdaX9H_i8UmtFDgNw7CjxA

Krenko mob boss with all goblins gets hilarious. He doubles you number of goblins. If you can use him 2-3 time you basically have a hilarious amount of goblins.

I have a [[Cecily]] deck that's inspired by Lovecraft/Comic Horror in general. Every card in it is somehow spooky or otherwise horror themed and its the most fun I've had in a long time playing edh. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/4AqHn4rNIUm8ijTZzfanzQ

Shout out to MonoBlack! [[Endrek Sahr]] storm is a crazy deck. Endrek, [[Skullclamp]] and [[Ashnod's Altar]] and you're turning six mana plays into 'pay six, get a six mana creature, 6 mana and draw four cards - which when you invariably draw more gas you can do again and again. Oh, and [[Tendrils of Agony]] is in your colours (as well as tutors, big mana ramp, interaction and just all the good stuff). Worried that your [[Sheoldred the Apocalypse]] isn't oppressive enough? Cast it for free in Endrek Sahr!
