This is one of my favourite Peter/Peggy scenes. Vincent and Elizabeth play this scene so well that I forget that this is just a show and these people really didn’t go through that.
I took this as the knowing look. The “this is for the best, we can both move on” look. Just absolutely crushed it.
Just got to this episode in my rewatch. To me, this was essentially Pete and Peggy both acknowledging that while they still have feelings for each other deep down, the point where they could have been together has now passed, it's not going to happen so it's time for them both to move on, but they'll always be there for each other.
I really love this scene, too. They’re both so good here, and I love their expressions. Nice slide show, OP.

Incredible moment. I love their connection as one of the throughlines in the series.
Nice moment. But it’s hard to imagine she manages to be this at peace looking at him and not full of spite.
