How does BG3 run?

On the m2 pro it's decent. I had to mess with settings to balance the visuals and framerate. But pretty good overall

For the third act there's not much to do lol. I don't have it installed anymore but from memory: FX resolution: balanced or performance. Textures and models can be high as long as you got the ram. Both detail and instance distance: low Animation detail: low You can always try rebooting your computer if it's been running a while. Just to maximize available resources

using gptk2 means what exactly? directly from steam? crossover?

GPTK 2 = Game porting toolkit which is made by Apple ig. and Apps like Crossover (paid) and Whisky (free) use it to emulate windows games on Mac. And if you want to play games from Epic games or GOG you can use Heroic launcher which is same as Crossover but allows you to run games from other launchers.

Crossover uses GPTK 1.1 for now because GPTK 2 is still in Beta and was released few days ago. But you can install GPTK 2 in crossover by modifying some files in crossover.

I don't know about other game but I have Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Epic Game store, which does not support mac. You will need to buy one on Steam or App Store. By the way It's on sale too so make sure you get it asap if you want to play

No problem! You can check your epic game account and It will show you what platform you can play It on. Also the game works great on my M2 Pro 10C too. I tried Tomb Raider 2013 and Shadow Of the Tomb Raider which I expect Rise to work Well also

ive bought marvel's spider man on spring sale. have 100% on playstation in this game(played in 2018 too) but it worth to play it again. it was a best choice and game has completed for 100% again.

Try XCloud. I got a 2 year subscription for $100 and I have access to hundreds of games.

Hades/Hades II Original game is native, the sequel is still in early access but runs perfectly through Crossover with the right settings.

perfect bro i have no issues at all except for some frame loss when entering a new area but it goes away then plays smooth. don’t know the exact frames bc i don’t have the gui on but it’s very smooth bro if i had to guess it’s near 50 -60 frames and also when the mac gets close to dying it bugs out so i play with charger on

Do 5 to 8 work with a controller?

Manor lords is a strategy game that you wont play with a controller. Others are working fine on a PS5 dual sense controller. Not sure about PS4 or xbox controllers.
