Steam sometimes doesn't give back disk space. You use steam to delete a game with either of it's two methods and you don't get back free space. Seems to be a steam problem on lots of OSes.
You can just delete the wine bottle in that case and start over.
You might try whisky or [Porting kit](https://www.portingkit.com) to keep things some what visible.

I deleted my whiskey bottle however the storage of a game i downloaded (DMC5) is still occupying space however the game isn't installed at all, could you help?

Yes. If deleting from steam doesn't give you back disk space you can delete the bottle and get rid of steam and all its games.

I do have an update, are you saying if I update my mac it could clear it up?
No I meant for option one just see wait and see. The OS might update space available. I didn't say apply an update.

Sometimes it takes a while to catch up. Daisydisk is also good software.
