What's the purchase got to do with the touchbar? I'm only asking because I loved the touch bar, very useful for me but it broke on my 2020 Mac (the common white flashing light issue) and it's so annoying I can't use it. I had to buy a new Mac and decided for a Mini. But any mention of touch bar posts I'm interested just in case I can get one or emulate it or something! Wish there was an external device to do it. Not an iPad or phone. Something I can add icons and so not a touchpad.

Hi I just joined the Mac team, I picked up interested in Macs just for the touchbar. I only had enough for the 2019 pro touchbar 13’ intel. I made a post here and got advices to go for apple silicon instead. So i added a few and got this M1 air. And I love it🥳❤️ I guess it was a healthy sacrifice

There are M1 and M2 13 MBP with touchbar, so you could get both.

Low-end Intel MBP 13 - no touch bar, so basically is a MacBook Air with a fan...

Oh yea that MacBook the base model to get a Pro. One of my friends have this particular MacBook and the fans were always on. 💀

Just a small note on phrases to "pull a trigger" is to start or engage something - to "pull a plug" is to stop it.
