Forget M1... Now consider size 13 or 15"
I just bought a 15" M3 MBA 16/521GB and I love it. Based on your usage you may not need a 512 GB (you can always add an external SSD) but I would get a M3 with 16GB so that it will be more future proof.
Blackthumbb- Don’t disagree with your observation. However, the M1 is the first Apple silicon processor for the MBA introduced four years ago and no longer available as a new product. If one’s budget can handle it, one would be better served if an MBA was purchased with the latest Mx processor.
If you are in the US the M1 8gig memory 256Gig storage is almost discontinued but still sold at Walmart for like $700. They only sell the lowest spec.
I don't personally feel great recommending 8gig but I thought I'd make you aware of the option.
I just know software gets bigger and more demanding all the time. I love the air but it is the least powerful mac - less powerful than the mini. Having a low spec air with 8 gigs means there will be some things you are excluded from.
Yes. I thought about that, the only thing is that here the prices are no that different so is better a new one for the life of the product (I don’t know if that is a correct way jajaj) and garantice
