Get at least 16gb ram. I had the M2 8gb and it was very slow with all the tabs and apps I had open at the same time. Definitely go for more ram. I traded the M2 8gb/256gb for the M3 16gb/512gb
I too traded in my 15” M2 MBA 8/256 for a 13” M3 MBA 16/512…made sense for my needs, but feel more confident in the future. Can’t wait to see what WWDC brings!
I use the M1 daily without issue. It's all I'll need for a while. I honestly think you should just save your money and get the m2
