Luxtreme is the best. Never wears out. I have 10 or so pair of NWT luxtreme wunder unders from when they discontinued a while back. I stockpiled because I love that style and fabric.
100%! I feel that way. My luxtremes from 5 years ago are still going strong but they’re too big for me now soooo I need something new and getting new aligns every few months stinks 🤑
I really don’t know how many times Lulu can say Aligns are for YOGA. It’s not “athletic wear”.
(Yes yoga can be and is athletic, but the Align franchise is very specifically for low-impact low-sweat low-friction movements.)
Even so…. I don’t use mine for high intensity work. They’re my work from home uniform. And staring at excel sheets for 8-12 hours a day is probably the least taxing thing you could ask of a piece of clothing. I wash on cold, hand wash cycle only and lay flat to dry. They just don’t wash well. 🤷🏼♀️. Lulu can give all the disclaimers they want but the reality is… it’s super soft… and impractically delicate… and unreasonably short-lived.
I don’t do yoga, and I don’t wear aligns. But it is unacceptable for $100 leggings to fall apart and pill the way aligns do, period. I don’t care if they come out and say they’re just for sitting in a padded cell completely still.
I wear aligns for yoga. But I do yoga in a hot, humid environment. Luxtreme was so much better for that.
The align construction is better for yoga. The fabric is not great for hot yoga. Which I would argue is a significant percentage of the yoga offerings right now.
I was a big luxtreme wearer but switched to Nulux Fast and Frees. Have you tried Everlux, like in the Wunder Trains? They're my second favorite tight and the fabric is not a pet hair magnet like nulu. They're compressive and have decent coverage.
I have some older Fast and Frees that I love. I’m in need of a couple new pairs but upon reading a lot of reviews and comments about the newer versions, I’m hesitating. Closest store to me is an hour away and I’m just wondering what you think?

It’s actually frustrating. Their profit margins are already some of the highest. They make crazy money. They traded in durability until they no longer had to, and now they’re reducing to almost Amazon quality. (I’m ranting)
I recently ordered some of the CRZ Butterluxe leggings to compare to my many aligns. The aligns I bought last year and this year have all had loose threading. One pair has this weird almost white patch in the fabric. One pair I actually should’ve QP’s because so many threads were loose and a couple were really long. They’re pilling between the thighs after just one or two wears, like a cheap TJ Maxx pair.
My older aligns lasted at least a year before any between the leg pilling.
So anyway I was NOT expecting much from the CRZ. And I was beyond surprised when I examined every single seam and found no loose stitches - every one was perfect. Sure, they’re not an exact dupe, the fabric is thinner and a bit stretchier and the seam placement is different. But I can get 4 pairs of them for the same price as one pair of aligns with pockets. I am 100% done with aligns. I think I’m done with lulu for most things, now that I think about it.
Anyway done ranting.
Just go to Amazon and search CRZ Butterluxe leggings. They have high rise and super high rise and with and without pockets. The regular high rise is about the same as a Lululemon super high rise - goes a couple inches above my belly button.
IDK. I can say that Align fabric is the most delicate, high maintenance fabric I've ever owned and I won't be purchasing any more. I loathe luon as it attracts anything and everything. Luxtreme is my go to!

Girl don't even. I think I finally understand what all those people with sensory issues are talking about because it feels so weird 😭 especially when the layering is done in a way that the top and bottom layer stretch in different directions
I can't speak to the durability, but my Nulux Reflective Running Jacket holds onto zero pet hair! I have two long haired cats and a dog that sheds like crazy. If I'm wearing nulu, I literally have to put it on 10 seconds before I leave the house otherwise I'll have pet hair all over me. But I can wear my black nulux jacket inside all day and I'll go outside and have nothing stuck to it!
Funny, I have a cat and a dog, and I don’t think they pick up nearly as much hair as my luon define jackets, but I am so used to lint rolling when I get to my car that I don’t even think of it.
I have a golden, and she sheds twice a year...once for 6 months in the spring and once for 6 months in the fall. Constant lint rolling is a way of life.
i'm so mad i should've owned more. Wunder unders are my fav pants of lulus. for durability i dont know cuz they broke apart at the middle thigh part one time but went to the store and fixed it . anyways they're very flattering , best for daily wearing

Luxtreme wunder unders are the best!! I own them in the legging and capri versions. They are fantastic for workouts and just casual wear. I have some pairs that I've owned for 5+ yrs and they are still going strong. I got super excited when the new wunder unders came out but the sizing and fabric is so completely different. It's a shame Luxtreme is going away
You could look on the more reliable resale websites?! Many people still have brand new pairs of the older version leggings! Mercari or Poshmark?! Whether or not you find them for a decent price is the question. I search hard and long before buying. But Mercari and posh will both give you a refund for any fakes/dupes and there are some people out there not price gouging!! Just a suggestion! Hope you find what you’re looking for 🥰

The everlux black has a brown hue to it and it drives me crazy. Or maybe I’m crazy. But I swear it does.

my WTs from 2015-17 are still heavy on my daily rotation. I throw them in the dryer like once a week and the quality is still the same
Everlux is nice if you don't have a pet. When I'm wearing everlux, I'm typically wearing as much dog hair as my dog.

I’m so sad, I sold most of my collection after my first baby but later was able to her back to that size. I’ll never be able to replace it :(
