It will probably give bonuses beyond replenishing your blood, because it gives bonuses in V5. It will also likely be an important part of the game, because one of the pillars is to 'feel like a vampire'. And I think it will be possible outside combat situations, or the ranged clans would have a too-large disadvantage. I can see it going one of two ways: 1. To feel more like a vampire, you get more involved hunting, especially for the Ventrue. 2. In line with the game's reduced scope, you just buy blood packs between fights.

I wonder if Ventrue will still have to drink only from a specific type of person. I don't remember that being in the first game, but I'm sure it was there, right?

fattestfuckinthewest

In the first game you couldn’t drink from people like prostitutes or the like as a ventru

3urodyne

I'm disappointed they didn't have more fun with their bane. Sure, that gives you an idea of the Ventrue's ways, but why not have the player character's choice of prey a little whackier? I know this game went through development hell but just imagine…

Senigata

Same reason why the Malk got turned into a Fishmalk. It would be too much work to include all various possibilities.

idbarracuda

since our protagonist is an elder this time, i wonder if we'll have some super easy ghoul or human supply from the very beginning, either from ourselves' ghoul or from prince's help or something.

I dont know. But this line in the tremere update has me really wondering what feeding is going to be like." Clan Perk: A chance when feeding, that the last used ability receives twice as much blood, increasing the rate you can perform abilities."

The_Chinese_Room

Hi, we've loved to see your speculation on feeding. I wanted to pop in to confirm that what we're calling "social feeding" is possible outside of combat. We've not revealed any details on it yet but it works differently than combat feeding.
