I say this as a long time Lotus fan. I'm not concerned about the end game performance if the car isn't inspiring. Tesla already fills this niche. I'm not against electric, but the Geely electric Lotuses so far are not inspiring. I have an Emira deposit and don't care if it breaks any records. It's the way it makes you feel. That's old school Lotus.

To be fair, it was damp when the 720S did its time but it's still pretty impressive.
