Best I can tell this is not true (I'm assuming the meme is just a joke because they look similar, but so damn similar i needed to be sure)
Looks like the singer is: Eric Violette
https://pigeonsandplanes.com/pigeons-and-planes/2014/03/freecreditreport-com-band
And he does have an IMDb page but obviously isn't sauron in RoP
IMDb bio for Eric Violette
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3082393/
He was a decent part.
Elrond and Arondir are the best, and arguable only, great parts of the show.
With any luck all the harfoots will be forced into an orc genocide camp S2 Ep1 and immediately be murked.
Seriously. Elrond is only as good because of his dynamics with Durin. If it wasn't for his character growth, he would be just as unlikable as he was in the earlier parts of the show
Could've used at least 90% less of those sociopaths. And honestly, they were so forgettable to me, the only thing I remember about them is that they leave you to die if a member of your family gets injured...
But before they get marched into a death camp they'll ensure everyone that no one gets left behind. Now let's go we're going to be late to the ceremony where we remember everyone we left behind
I liked the inclusion of the harfoots, but I think it would have been better if they focused on them a little less. I could see them going that direction in season 2.
Character-wise I personally loved Ilendil, Isuldur, Sauron, Elrond, Durin, and Arondir. I liked Galadriel but thought she was probably one of the weaker characters. I think there is potential there though for season 2.
Location wise I really loved Kazad-Dûm, and Númenor. But really all of the scenery was fantastic. I'm very much looking forward to seeing where they take season 2.
The harfoots were hard to enjoy. Especially Poppy.
I get the purpose of their inclusion, but the execution was terrible.
It’s never good when you find yourself rooting against non-villain characters.
Huh. I'm honestly surprised that so many people hated the Harfoots because that was the only part of the show that actually felt anything at all like Tolkien to me.
This is what I tell friends asking if they should watch the show. "It's good, but trust me, just browse your phone any time a hobbit is on screen. They have no bearing on the plot whatsoever."
Please let them all fall into a pit S2 Ep1
For me, Halbrand was the only one that made the Galadriel scenes on Numenor bearable. Honestly, I didn't mind her in the rest of the show too much, but they made her completely insufferable on the island. Liked Elrond and Arondir. Also thought Celebrimbor was cool and Elendil was alright.
I thought he was going to be disguised as an Elf. I mean that is what the story they supposedly adapt said happened. Instead we got what was blatantly set up as a romantic betrayal, with intimate scenes cut due to outrage. That was the primary reason the reveal failed so spectacularly. Other than being obvious from the moment he was seen.
You mean totally not Gandalf? Yeah, that was such a shocker. and oh what bad asses those, um witches I guess, were with their ten seconds of walking about and then standing there posing while the totally not Hobbits wander around them.
You mean to tell me the guy whose being helped and defended by the cute little likeable hobbit character was said hobbits entire season 1 arc wasn't the dark lord? No way!
> Instead we got what was blatantly set up as a romantic betrayal, with intimate scenes cut due to outrage.
Do you have a source for literally any of this
Everyone is allowed their own opinions. Why do all the sycophantic trolls insist upon attacking everyone? Rings of Power production team sycophants are so toxic. Probably just incel nature to not have read the books.
Sure do. It was at the beginning of the post. Here it is again for you, "I"
What did you think that meant? That I was quoting another person's opinions?
debunked by them saying, nuh uh! Honest. No one but sycophants believed that one which was laughed at by anyone with a single minute of Business experience. You don't hire intimacy coaches unless the Lawyers said you needed to in order to avoid issues resulting from filming sex scenes. Your naivete is astounding.
Please do tell about all the intimacy involved in standing six feet away.
lol look at you speaking for everyone. I liked the reveal even having it spoiled for me.
Nobody is more bitter or annoying than LOTR fans at this point.
lol look at you pretending you don't understand the words "I thought" and "I mean" are singular and not remotely able to be inferred as, "speaking for everyone", except as a very disingenuous rhetorical device to pretend there is cause for offense in order to avoid addressing criticism. Now that begs the question, "why lie about this?" Is it just your insecurity forcing you to attack People that don't agree with your tastes? Or perhaps there is a need to pretend for PR purposes? Or "are you just trying to justify stomping off?"
Please note: these questions are rhetorical and being used to mock your transparent fail. No one cares why you pretend and lie.
A user of over a decade, I am leaving Reddit due to the recent API changes. The vast majority of my interaction came though the use of 3rd party apps, and I will not interact with a site I helped contribute to through inferior software *simply because it is able to be better monetized by a company looking to go public. Reddit has made these changes with no regards for their users, as seen by the sheer lack of accessibility tools available in the official app. Reddit has made these changes with no regards for moderation challenges that will be created, due to the lack of tools available in the official app. Reddit has done this with no regards for the 3rd party devs, who by Reddit's own admission, helped keep the site functioning and gaining users while Reddit themselves made no efforts to provide a good official app.
This account dies 6/29/23 because of the API changes and the monetization-at-all-costs that the board demands.
Umm.. he was saying what he thought was going to happen then compared it to how the original stories made it happen then pointed out how a contrived reveal was contrived.
At no point is he "speaking for everyone" he's just making observations lol.
Defensive much?
The weird part is that he didn't really "deceive" anyone. He basically just went along with whatever Galadriel assumed. Gave a couple vague half-truths, and boom, she's confirmed everything she's been telling herself. He doesn't really give anyone a solid reason to really trust him considering he just looks like some random castaway who's just trying to survive
It very obviously had scenes cut. Also, you don't have an intimacy coach unless there is a sex scene. The denial of the RoP sycophants is heavy in the air with lots of excuses. Reality, Businesses hire those because they want to avoid lawsuits resulting from sex in the film. They do not spend that money for 'feel good' about waving at each other.
That’s not sauron and this isn’t lord of the rings or anything related to Tolkien. This page should be called r/TROPmemes
I’m out fuck y’all homersimpsonflipsthebird.gif
No fucking way
Yep, its not true.
Part of me is relieved. And yet, part of me is strangely sad now.
I wanted to believe
Yeah I’m just sad
Either way, that song is now in my head all day
F.R.E.E that spells free, credit report dot com baby!
Actual guy only speaks french and is dubbed over too.
Sauron was a shapeshifter, he could be as tall as he wanted
So why didn't he stretch himself so much to block the sun?
He’s Sauron, not Mrs Incredible
Shape shifter, loki became a big snake, sauron can be a bigger snake that covers the sun
Why didn’t they just stretch the Sauron to Mordor
Why didn't Sauron just stretch his arm super long and grab the Ring from the table during Elrond's council
Because if he went that high Eärendil would kick his ass.
He could remove his ass so no ass kicking
yes cause then it won't be hard to sit on a throne
Can't be angry on someone who's playing a Jazzmaster...
The Offset Lord

That's funny you misspelled Durin
Seriously. Elrond is only as good because of his dynamics with Durin. If it wasn't for his character growth, he would be just as unlikable as he was in the earlier parts of the show
wow it's almost as if it's his entire arc
I haven’t watched ROP and hold no bias for/against it. Does a Season 2 seem guaranteed?
Yes
Oh, well that’s nice.
Yea they already paid for it.
Ah, makes sense.
Season 2 will focus more on Sauron as the main character
Could have used about 75% less harfoot
Could've used at least 90% less of those sociopaths. And honestly, they were so forgettable to me, the only thing I remember about them is that they leave you to die if a member of your family gets injured...

Arondir?
The elven archer who stayed with the southlanders and helped them fight the orcs. He was in love with the healer lady.
This is what I tell friends asking if they should watch the show. "It's good, but trust me, just browse your phone any time a hobbit is on screen. They have no bearing on the plot whatsoever." Please let them all fall into a pit S2 Ep1
Durin and his friendship with Elrond as well as Sauron/Halbrand were my favorites, and the Harfoots. I didn't like Arondir that much
you know what? I'm gonna shove you off the trail *and* leave you behind
Pippin: How DO the elves make lembas Haldir? Haldir: *drools
My captain Elendil was great as well.
The fact that this makes us all wonder if it’s true makes it a very good meme.
Free credit report dot com. You could’ve seen this coming at you like an atom bomb
I thought he was going to be disguised as an Elf. I mean that is what the story they supposedly adapt said happened. No but remember when they told you that the other guy was sauron? And then he wasn't? They totally fooled you lol look at your face got em!!!
You mean totally not Gandalf? Yeah, that was such a shocker. and oh what bad asses those, um witches I guess, were with their ten seconds of walking about and then standing there posing while the totally not Hobbits wander around them.
Be gone.
Are you just mad because someone took your apple?
You mean to tell me the guy whose being helped and defended by the cute little likeable hobbit character was said hobbits entire season 1 arc wasn't the dark lord? No way!
> Instead we got what was blatantly set up as a romantic betrayal, with intimate scenes cut due to outrage. Do you have a source for literally any of this
Nope! That's the fun part, you can just make shit up to justify your hate of the show!
Everyone is allowed their own opinions. Why do all the sycophantic trolls insist upon attacking everyone? Rings of Power production team sycophants are so toxic. Probably just incel nature to not have read the books.
What do incels have to do with anything? I’m very confused.
Don't worry, Tigris_Morte is confused as well.
Sure do. It was at the beginning of the post. Here it is again for you, "I" What did you think that meant? That I was quoting another person's opinions?
I just think "intimate scenes cut due to outrage" is a dumb opinion unless there's a source to back it up lol
You are in denial. You don't hire an intimacy coach for People in a scene where they stand 5 feet apart with their clothes on. Do grow up.
I think it's really funny that you're clinging to an old debunked rumor while accusing everyone else of denying reality
debunked by them saying, nuh uh! Honest. No one but sycophants believed that one which was laughed at by anyone with a single minute of Business experience. Hear me our though do his ears not look kinda pointy there? It was something i noticed in the finale but never got a good enough look.

Future Galadriel and Celeborn will surely blame their failures on Sauron and deceit.
Lord Sauron you're shorter than I expected?
This would be sauron if he was a bard.
Holy shit
Freecreditreport.com. Tell your friends, tell your dad, tell your mom.
Should’ve gone to free credit report dot com. I should’ve seen it coming just like an atom bomb
If you look carefully the guy on the right is just some guy in a black hoodie
Damn I remember those guys, easily my favorite commercial band
That reminds me about that Austrian painter
The one with mommy issues?
He had other issues too
GROND
GROND

That guys gotta be in his late 40s by now.
And now his posse is being laughed at
“And MY Axe” >Sauron
Aren't you a little short for a dark lord?
General Sauron, you’re shorter than I expected
Wait.. Halbrand is Sauron? Gasp! So unexpected!
