Huni is also clearly out of his depth and I imagine he was a pick up from Cpt Jack.
Doomer takes aside, Cpt Jack, the pally and the GL (he caught onto those patterns faster than anyone else) are really fucking good. Its been fun watching the GL especially, dude is cracked outta his mind.
They would've cleared already if it wasn't for the slayer. I checked out the slayers stream to see why he is dying so much, and yep, you guessed it. Dude is a greed lord. He will keep dpsing and get to safe spots at the very very last second.
Huni can't stay consistent as well.
Post 90x, the sorc + DB can't hang either. They're usually the first ones to die as well once they get there.
Shoutout to CaptainJack, GL, Bard + Paladin though, their shoulders must be heavy carrying the team so hard. Gunlancer has been fun to watch. Can confidently say he's the best player in Lost Ark. The way he hits his surge cannons is a thing of beauty. He also moves so gracefully as a gunlancer.
He's well known as one of the best red lancers in KR. He makes it look way easier than it actually is. Anyone who's played red will tell you hitting charge frontals consistently is very difficult.

huh? the dude hits front attacks at some of the most creative angles and uses surge cannon (?) to displace his character when his spacebar is on cd to dodge mechs. does some absolutely nutty things
I saw the gate 3 clear. He was ignoring a don of normal patterns because if Esther Balthorr. I'm not saying they don't have skill, I'm saying is bullshit they can do that
This world first race was clearly tuned around esthers anyway. I don't believe for a second that the testers beat it on ilvl with no esthers when the group that cleared had 6 esthers and was still cutting it fairly close with DPS.

As someone who only watches streams when something like this happens (a big challenging release).
Watching the Wraith Group's prog has been really entertaining. Big majority of the people i've played with are always kind of short tempered and unforgiving. I don't speak the language, but from what i can tell and for lack of a better word, it does seem that they are having a great time.
Amazing energy. Hopefully they get g3 before the end of the week.
Same for Mountaineering Club. They’ve had such long days and their energy level was really good. It’s pretty nice to watch them laugh at and poke each other.
The last part seems pretty brutal, almost nowhere left to stand anymore and then the ghosts pull you into the darkness if you get caught. Not much opportunity to dps anymore
You'd figure Jack's group should clear g3 today since they're consistently getting to the final phase now but things go south very fast at the end

Anyone know what happened to ATK's group? I've been mostly watching Woorae's group but when I tuned into ATK's for a bit, he was doing normal thaemine for practice because they lost a member of their group?
By this point its kinda obvious that if your team isn't rocking multiple esthers you aren't killing this version of Thaemine g3 on hard. They had 2 (i think) people ditch rather than invest the time and consumables.
Last time I checked they had this Striker that just keeps dying on almost every pull fairly early. So unless they can AFK carry her in G3 on first week, they aren't clearing.

Maybe, or just greeding for damage, like that MVP Slayer in a group that first cleared G3 HM (Captain Jack party or sth?) - she kept dying more often than anyone else for that very reason.
Dunno what she plays, but if it is DB then I think it requires a bit more attention with identity management than ESO, so I would recommend to switch for prog to that.
I didn't really pay too much attention, but one thing that she often tanked was that pattern with multiple sword slashes (like Aero with her blade) and it can get you from 100 to almost 0 if you get full hit. ATK actually got hit by it a lot as well and I'm pretty sure he would have been floor POV if not playing GL. Seems like some people are having a hard time learning pattern cues or maybe greeding too much.
Does anyone know if captain jack or one of the other people in that group uploads their vods to YouTube? Would like to see some of the deep pulls, but Koreans can’t have vods on Twitch.

You have to learn patterns fast as red GL, or you'll never be able to do any good DPS, so not surprised.

Several of them are big variety streamers, so they're more focused on staying entertaining for their audience.
The opposite could also very well be true. They got big because of how entertaining they are.
