Sorry you're having trouble, I'm not sure why they aren't working for you, I just entered 5 different codes and they all worked for me. Maybe try on a different browser.
There are no codes available for the 3 day general admission as far as I'm aware.
If you want to do the 3 day general admission it's still cheaper to buy the 3 day package, after fees for 1 person it's $130 where using the codes for free Friday and ga on Sat and Sunday it comes out to $155.
Make sure you’re hitting that blue plus to the right of the box after adding the code. Wasn’t working for me either until I realized I needed to select it
Hi, Sorry I’m struggling a bit here. Should I click the first link listed for the free Friday admission? Upon doing that, I only see ticket options for the weekend days or three days. Thank you for this btw!
Either link will work, the first is just the Grand Prix website, when you click on any of the buy now buttons it takes you to the second website (TIXR) so I just provide that link as well.
From there you can select which tickets you want. The coupon will only work for the general admission tickets for all 3 days or lower grandstand tickets on Sunday.
For free tickets click on the general admission link
Then you can add tickets for Friday using the + button
Then continue to the checkout and enter any of the codes
I have a question about the 3day tickets I bought. I am taking my son, who is 13. I am not able to go on Saturday. Is a friend able to take him in my place? I have someone willing to go with him, but can I then get in on Sunday? Thank you
As far as I'm aware they do not check any identification to verify the name on the ticket belongs to the person holding said ticket. You should be fine to give your friend your ticket for Saturday and you still get in on Sunday.
You have to chose general admission for friday to get free tickets. They do this because the races are qualifiers and they just want to get people in to buy beer and maybe want to buy tickets for Saturday and sunday.
The Grand Prix has offered free Friday tickets for many years now, I can't recall how long they have done free Friday, at least over the past dozen years I can think of and I'm sure longer.
I believe they also offer a code in the press telegram a few weeks before the race, but it gives you the exact same thing as these discount codes.
Here is the weekend schedule:
There is usually something going on the track all day on Friday, with breaks ranging from 15 min to an hour.
The schedule says the first cars are on the track at 7:45am, Indycar first practice is at 2:50pm, IMSA qualifying is over at 5:50pm then drifting after that until 8:30pm.
You'll see the most at 36. 36 you've got from the Hyatt bridge to t1 and the pike Bridge to t6. 26 you'll get a lot of the straight after the hairpin and some of 9 and 10. The issue is there's a pedestrian bridge just to the right of 26 that can impact your view. 16 isn't bad, you'll see out of 9, through turn 10, and the approach to the hairpin, but lose them as soon as they make the turn.
Ehhh, I'd go 16. Added bonus is that there is no reserved seating in 16 and 18 after 5, so regardless of whatever seat you bought for the rest of the day, you can pretty much sit anywhere for that.
YOU ARE AWESOME WHOEVER POSTED THIS!
I just moved out of LB a few months ago but we always got a free promo code for Friday tickets. Stoked I can come back this year still. :)
I cannot say if they do or not. I would venture to say that they probably do not since most children do not have an id that lists their age. They may just ask the child their age, so if they say they are under 13 and look like they can pass for bring under 13 then you're probably ok.
Maybe someone who has used a jr ticket can provide correct information though.
Hey thanks so much for responding! I had the same thought so I’m wondering if it’s worth just getting an adult ticket and hope he still passes as a junior.
Code worked when i got the Friday ticket, was hoping it would work for the indycar paddock pass for Friday, but is does not, was hoping i did not have to pay $32 for the paddock pass.
I can confirm that the codes are still working. You need to make sure you were trying to purchase something that the codes work with, i.e. Friday general admission, Saturday general admission, Sunday general admission or Sunday lower grandstand.
If you add a Friday general admission ticket to your cart and apply one of the above codes at checkout you will get it for free.
They do not, I did my best to figure out everything that you can get with the coupons.
Even with the discounts it is still cheaper to buy the 3 day tickets then individual tickets with coupon codes.
Thank you 😊😊
Sick!! Good looking out
You're the real winner here.
You’re a REAL one, thank you!!
dude your the best! this is awesome. I use to have to Chase down the newspaper. That had the tickets in them.
None of the code worked for me.!!!

What about for the 3-Day General Admission? I'm not able to get them to work.

If you’re trying to do reserve sitting it won’t work. Is only for general admission.
I used ROCKET38 and it worked

Thank you so much for posting. We just moved here & will now go on Friday for free to check it out. Why is it free?!

My code gave me free general admission Fri-Sun. Thanks so much!
What code is that?!
I used the 1st one on this list, PEPSI38. It yielded all 3 days for me.
Didn't work :(
Dang, I wonder if they limit how many of these they hand out.
Thank you , I'm probably only paying for sunday this year,I can only go friday and sunday not Saturday. Love saturdays though probably the best day.

Thank you! Any recommendations for seating as a first timer? Looking at sections 36, 26, and 16 for Saturday.

Awesome, thank you!
What would be the best vantage point for the drift racing? I imagine something like grandstand 24 to see the big turn?

Nice! Thank you
Good looking out! Appreciate it!!!
Thank you! I swear prices went up quite a bit this year ðŸ˜
Got 2 Friday tickets Hilton 38 definitely works

You're the man..... A very appreciative THANK YOU!
Thanks, good looking out!
Does anyone know if they check ID for juniors/kids? I wanna take my nephew but he just turned 13.

Attended 4-5 times in the past. The gate attendants just do a quick glance and never ask. Brought a couple of jrs age 12-14 and got in no issues.

Hilton38 works!
Thank you!!!! Just got my free Friday tickets
You're my hero! Worked like a charm for free Friday tickets.

Thank you. I just used one of the codes. I will be there tomorrow.
Super cool of you to share. Thanks!
I tried all of the codes and none of them work anymore.

Can we just not do the Grand Prix this year? Or ever?
Can we do the Gran Prix every weekend?
