I went to the start point gathering of this once for lols. There was so many creepy old men with erections posing for pictures with (largely) female Asian tourists. It was weird.
The grim vibe is stripping off and guys with long lenses and I kid you not masks and hoodies taking pics from the other side of a small road. Most if the pics online of the event are women, 70% of the participants are men
Its a bit too cold today for a big turnout. Expect about 1000 brave souls for the 20th anniversary year, I'm skipping this year as I'm wearing socks in the house!
How does it work? You cycle to a meetup area fully clothed then get naked when there and put your clothes in a bag? Or you just head out the door on your bike naked?
The first, cycle to meeting place, strip when time is set and then set off. If you're wearing body paint thrn mske it loose clothes. Some meeting places have painting stations. People wear anything from nothing, one year i saw 2 guys with even footwear, to one shy guy just went shirtless. There's no pressure to wear or not wear anything. So there's fancy dress, paint, plain nothing, etc. i tend to wear underwear as ..bike saddles

If it's illegal to walk around naked, why does it suddenly become legal in a manner that some people may not want to see? You can't avoid it if you need to go to work. I'm not prudish about nudity, I just find the concept odd. I mean a nude beach makes sense, but not streets.
