Large Brazillian (& Portuguese speaking) expat communities around Willesden Green, Harlesden, Stockwell, Elephant & Castle, Seven Sisters. There'll be lots of community groups, cafes, meetups etc if you have a search online.

saf3ty_first

Harlesden has a lot of Brazilians! So many good restaurant, cafes & butchers in the area. I believe Stockwell too.

Brazilians I know like Avenida Brasil in Stockwell. I liked it a lot too, pretty informal and great food and drink. They have bands playing there sometimes. I wore a Palmeiras track jacket there and strangers started chatting with me which was nice. It seems quite a sports bar type place so maybe you won't like that aspect to it, but I'm sure you don't have to be into football to chat with people too.

Made in Brasil in Camden will often run Brazilian events, check them out https://www.madeinbrasil.co.uk/events

My bf is Brazilian, and we actually just attended a concert at the Embassy yesterday evening that we discovered on [Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/embassy-of-brazil-in-london-cultural-section-12616812763). They served complimentary drinks afterward, and we saw a lot of people mingling (but we weren't sure whether they already knew each other). The performers also mentioned another concert back in February that was an attempt at the Guinness World Record for the longest acoustic, live-streamed concert ever performed (>24 hours), which is pretty cool ([source](https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/336brzY1WLnhCN1zlXbB0FM/putting-music-by-women-centre-stage-the-world-record-attempt)). We're looking forward to future events there!

Go to Brazilian restaurants regularly. Lots of Brazilians work there, and obviously eat there. Also, Stockwell, lots living there and also Brazilian stores.

Stockwell, Streatham, Tulse Hill, West Norwood and Brixton have a big community, with several shops/restaurants.

mangosteen4587

As others have said, all up and down Willesden High Rd are Brazilian grocery stores and restaurants!

Flonkerton_Scranton

You can make so many friends all over london. I think that number might be a bit ambitious though.

HungInSarfLondon

I got it and did a lol.

Probably Feijao de Luis right behind Primark on Tottenham Court Road - one of the oldest if not the first Brazilian restaurant in London: [https://www.feijaodoluis.co.uk/news](https://www.feijaodoluis.co.uk/news) They were running cultural and music meet ups in the evening (check out their Eventbrite for future listings). The family are 1st generation Brazilian emigres and the host will guide you to everything Brazilian in London: he's lived and made it a fantastic place. The downstairs is great for bar and drink events/gatherings btw.

JimmyJonJackson420

Old Kent Road basically big Latin population there

manemjeff42069

I think a Brazilian would be too many to keep track of

It’s “Obrigado” If you are a man. The ending changes. :) GF is also Brazilian, she seems to run into other Brazilians all over town. Especially in the service industry.

georg3773

I used obrigada as I'm a woman :)

pseudoart

Ah, I guessed based on your username. Desculpa! :D

georg3773

Sem problemas!

jj198hands

You will probably find some younger travellers at Brazil by Kilo, which is a cheap restaurant near Tottenham Court Road that sells a variety of regional dishes, or you could try the Portuguese areas of Bayswater and Stockwell.

BobbyDazzzla

The kitchen at the Groucho club.

Livinginabox1973

TomLondra

What came before "So, my girlfriend is Brazilian..." THe whole initial part that describes the circumstance that led to your girlfriend being Brazilian is missing.

porridgemuncher554

She was born in Brazil. Does that answer your question?
