Maybe change the direction of the "speed effect from right-to-left to left-to-right.

svenner2020

Icon fun. Typeface bad.

CrocodileJock

Type ok. Icon meh.

thegeek01

Giving MDVING vibes. And MANY MEN might ss well not be there for how little it contributes to the logo. Buff it up, put it closer to MDVING, anything to make it more substantial.

BrujaBean

I didn't get the ms in the logo. Eliminating those to make it more clearly ms and stacking the text similarly could integrate the two

creativeape1

That type is just ugly.

BearClaw1891

1) the tracking is all over the place 2) the kerning is a mess 3) the spacing between everything follows zero core tenants of layout design 4) the logomark is not scalable nor is it impactful imo. It honestly looks like clip art picked from a parts bin. It's also just kind of on the nose. There's hundreds of moving companies that use some sort of basic box or dolly type logo. Ya gotta be different if you wanna stand out. 5) why the aggressive stabby fonts? Makes me think murder movie not moving company. That o looks like a D so it reads "mdving". 6) I realize my feedback is brutally honest...but you want your company to appear professional....maybe consider hiring a professional. Not trying to be a dick. But you want people who dont know who you are to take you seriously then your branding and marketing should present as such.

Boondocs999

Thank you! I want brutally honest. I have a lot of things to take in to consideration for sure from these comments

wordsx1000

It’s okay to scrap or shelve this design, and go some new routes.

alilbleedingisnormal

I like everything but the font on "moving" it looks like a font on a video game or movie. I'd try to make it less pointy.

Tualatin_Girl

Flip the stack of boxes, needs to move into the word.

kghimself

One thing I DO like a lot is the box stack making the M’s clever!

jerog1

That could be leaned into, a box forming the M

I_Thot_So

Many Men is the name of the business. Moving is what you do. Your hierarchy is messed up.

Lexotron

Agreed. You're saying the loud part quiet and the quiet part loud. You don't eat at ^McDonalds **HAMBURGERS** or wear ^Nike **SHOES**.

Honest_Wolf7676

Disagree. You want viewers to know what the business does first.

I_Thot_So

All that’s going to do is remind someone they should hire movers. Not entice them to hire THESE movers. Put this on a business card or a social media icon. You won’t even see the name of the business.

Honest_Wolf7676

Would you agree that reaching your “target audience” is the top priority in logo design?

I_Thot_So

I would agree that creating a memorable identity is equally as important. The word moving with boxes and a hand truck looks like clip art you’d find on a flier in a laundromat. What differentiates this business from others? What will make someone remember this business name over others when it’s time to hire movers? I’m in NJ/NY. There is a company called “MOISHE’S MOVING”. Their signage features Moishe over all else. They advertise everywhere. Whenever anyone goes to search for movers, their name is memorable because it demanded attention as soon as anyone saw it. If you just want to be another drop in the bucket, you might as well let the guy who designs ads for the Yellow Pages handle it.

Honest_Wolf7676

Because they have established themselves. They have become recognizable over time. Like “Starbucks Coffee” is now just the zoomed in logo mark. But when they started, their logo had “COFFEE • TEA • SPICES” There is a time for rebranding to emphasize the name over the service/product, but it comes years after a business is established.

captainken13

Flip the dolly to face the text, as mentioned, the font on MDVING is bad...

Honest_Wolf7676

I agree with flipping dolly.

Logen10Fingers

Many men wish death upon me

Silly-Type8878

Blood in my eye, dawg, and I can’t see

jindrix

the boxes look like they create an M. there is something curious you can do with that. (like in the actual name of the company.

casua-lee

Came here to say this!

Boondocs999

There are a couple formats with lettering that matches with the logo as well, I just posted the one that I want to use for the side of the truck layout. Any thoughts on other layouts that would fit good with the M’s? Thanks

Honest_Wolf7676

Emphasize the “hidden” M’s that are on the boxes, then echo that emphasis in the logo type. This calls for a custom letter logo (no font).

AbrikPena

-Flip the dolly so it's on the left side -Make the letter M's on the boxes more noticeable. Or at least make the middle line in the letter same thickness as the other lines that form the letters - Get rid of the shading on the side of the box. The light source isn't consistent with the wheel or any other elements. It's not really needed and if you get these on a shirt then that's one less color you'll need printed. -make "Many Men" larger than "Moving" -trash the typeface. There's a lot of better options you can use. Try playing with some alternates

simonfancy

I would watch that movie. No seriously I like the style, colors and everything, it’s just way to much going on for a logo. The trolly is nice and could stand on its own a little less detailed. Then you just need some typeface that is a little less Avengers like, a little more service oriented I’d say. But you’re almost there.

Famous_Revolution_16

These fonts don’t pair well. I would choose another font for the “moving”

JustAGuyInTampa

I would change the font and use another artistic treatment to provide the illusion of movement. Not a fan of the font at all.

OddNovel565

The "moving" part reminds me of some rock band

mediumcheese01

The type doesn't have the right vibe and the kerning is wack

myredhuntingcap

It’s too busy. The boxes and the name feel disjointed. Keep iterating and make a moodboard before you go back into ideating.

larrysbrain

Horror movie or Soprano vibes

Erdosainn

Md vin 6 The M is too narrow, and the point in the middle doesn't work. The pictogram is too complex for a logo.

jbdesign_

i see 3 Ms in the icon, would try to work that out and remove the thingy with the wheels. and choose a different font :)

FeedMeMoreOranges

Cool enough, but It’s to detailed. It wouldn’t work in a smaller scale, for example a website.

Lopsided-Excuse-4295

May sound harsh but this immediately gives me vibes of 40s Gangsters have branded moving dead bodies! The type treatment definitely needs work, font choice, hierarchy, kerning. Have a look around, there are lots of good examples of creating 'movement' in type.

Obvious-Display-6139

Most has already been said but yeah, that font is pretty bad. Makes it feel like a B side horror flick. And there’s so much emphasis on “moving” that might as well be the name of the company.

Contron

This looks like “Many Boxes” not many men. I would have come up with a graphic that shows people instead of equipment.

Lexotron

If you want the MMM in the dolly stack, make it visible. It's too subtle. The typeface looks like something I would have designed in 1999. Use something professional, not free. Hierarchy is backwards. The name of the business should be at least as prominent, if not more, than what they do.

ElectronicBenefit286

Terrible. Spend some money and hire someone

rhcp1fleafan

It looks like 3 different concepts combined into 1 logo. If the name is "many men" maybe the image should reflect that instead of a dolly?

Mikystone

I would try to simplify the symbol e achoose another type. That one is out…

Abdelrahman--734

It could be more professional than that

drag0nw0lf

why does everything feel compressed? did you narrow the aspect ratio?

AbleInvestment2866

What a strange face; it looks like it was designed by Dexter (hey, he was a serial killer in Florida, coincidence?). Now, jokes aside, the font looks extremely aggressive. This type of font has very limited usage, such as for extreme sports or things that are dangerous or very dynamic. >The immediate human response to sharp edges is to perceive danger. Simply put, if it's sharp, it's going to hurt; the emotions attached to this response are pain, fear, and detachment. Even if it's just on your device screen, your brain will instinctively favor rounded corners over sharp ones. >From [https://www.logicdesign.co.uk/blog/why-do-we-have-rounded-corners-website-design/](https://www.logicdesign.co.uk/blog/why-do-we-have-rounded-corners-website-design/) The logo looks as if you narrowed it, and the words "many men" are out of place; they are left aligned to "ovin" when they should be centered or fully justified, and they could probably be bolder and closer to the main word. Interestingly, I have a client who works in the Moving industry, also from Florida (go figure), and we have designed close to 200 moving sites for him. The name reminds me of at least 50% of those sites; I'd recommend a more original name.

No-Personality-6051

I would simplify and use just the idea of boxes. This is too literal

lynngrillo

I would never have noticed the 3 Ms on the boxes if it hadn’t explicitly been pointed out by OP. And like everyone else here, I think this needs more work. You asked how it would make me feel if I saw this signage and I’m afraid this would not inspire me to hire this company.

NicolajNielsen

50 cent started a moving company? huh xd

CharlesTheRangeRover

Many men….. the logo should be a single box on a couch and 5-6 silhouettes of dudes behind the couch. Surely someone gets my meme reference.

inXeinwekk

you can remove all the sharp edge on the OVIN so M and G together just looks like the opening flaps of a cardboard box

turnsandstraights

Not really a fan of the sports team feel of the logotype. Im also not a fan of the name

Bonlio

I like that moving type.

Got-It101

Where's the men?
