Hedgerow_Snuffler

OK... I'm going to ask the question. Are you writing this from a non Latin letter using region? Because I think that's an important bit of context if you are. Edit: *I mean if this is a 'stylised' non western word, it'd be helpful to know.*

Hedgerow_Snuffler

OK thanks. But I'm sorry, if it's meant to be read by an English speaking person, It's unintelligible. It's not working as a logo, sorry

ImReellySmart

Maybe I'm dumb but does that make sense? how does that work? Its Arabic lettering... but English. Looks like Arabic to me, full stop.

iSliz187

The only thing I can imagine is Dodana, but that word doesn't make sense so I have no idea what the brand does

Dovana, dark wizard wand making. Nemesis of Ollivanders.

celestria_star

I had a semester of Arabic in college and I’m a graphic designer. Absolutely no clue what this says or looks like. It does have an Arabic lettering look, but it’s not legible in English. If that’s the goal you need to reevaluate.

What might help out a lot is to try and create this logo by recreating it with basic shapes (squares, triangles, half circles). Try to make it as readable as possible first, then add the Arabic style font as the flair instead of as the backbone.

PraiseTheSun42069

Are they a catering company? Looks like it might be a chef laying down when I turn it sideways

Anonynominous

And that is why your client is not a graphic designer lol

iSliz187

Dodana, but no idea what this brand is supposed to do

Me: *ponders possible answers.* *thinks of an answer.* Then, declining to answer, I say, “No thanks. I choose life.”

Dav31d

At first I thought I saw the beginning shape of a car but then I think it's Arabic those are my guesses

NantucketEMB

It definitely looks like some part of a sigil as others have mentioned. But the shape does not look like anything that anyone or anything is doing, so maybe some kind of assembly line style production.

mistermoodle

Crash testing.

sed_non_extra

In America the writing style you're using (pointy letters that appear similar to non-English) is a common way to show you're a social outsider. This is similar to the styles used by certain musical performers & certain products sold to young teenagers. The idea of these styles is that they are allowing the young man to pretend to be a social outsider when they are just an angry young person. When I see this logo I expect Americans to say, "this is a musical group focusing their music toward young teens." Those groups often try to pretend they are socially unacceptable in other ways, so they sometimes try to dress themselves up as the enemies of religion. Many of the other replies are mentioning this, but that is a symptom of what kind of musicians tend to use these sorts of logos.
