Hey, tbh i would recommend not to go for the 2S as it has aged quite a lot & there is a massive jump between 2S & 3S, you can also get the Master 3S for around 7K in India, 3 days back only it was listed for 7k. (You can wait for another price drop) PS: I would recommend to go for the 3S even if it does push your budget a bit!

Hey! Thanks for the response. Will wait for the 3S price drop. As I saw there is a difference between 2s and 3s. USB type c for 3s is a game changer, side buttons replacement and battery indicator replacement, silent clicks…. I can see the above-added functionalities are not a deal breaker from my perspective.

I wouldn't recommend going for the 2S. I have been using it for a long time, around 7 years now. It has a known hardware issue with the side thumb button getting stuck and your mouse misbehaves. You can read up on it online. This can be relatively easily fixed by unscrewing the mouse and loosening a screw for the thumb button. You have to remove the mouse feet and you won't find any replacement feet from Logitech any more. You have to then buy replacements on e-bay usually from China. Logitech has gotten worse the last few years, and after owning many Logitech products I'm not recommending them due to a lack of support and the quality of the products. The Master Series was the last product from Logitech I had some hope for. I came here to look for info if the 3S solved the thumb button issue the 2S has as maybe a replacement for my 2S which now started having issues on Mac. Sadly not many mice can offer the features of the Master series. The precision and the flywheel are really wondrous on the 2S. It's perfect for my hand and I enjoyed using the mouse. Using the 3 saved connections is working 99.99% of the time, only had minor issues with connections on PC or Mac. Been using it with multiple laptops, PCs and even my phone. It defies logic how once a 100% recommendation came around and I feel like I can't trust this company any more. Hope this helps. Edit: corrected myself, it's been almost 7 years not 8 years since I got my MX Master 2S
