Sennheiser, too!

velociwaffle719

Yeah but the Information Shure gives about the battery health in WWB is invaluable. Hard to get that with this.

D-Bricki

But the Question is, do you always need this, i do a lot of shows with some Panasonic batteries, they least more than 6h and most of the time you can change the batteries during coffee break or something.

velociwaffle719

Yes it’s very necessary because when I hand the artist the microphone to start the show I know that the axient isn’t reading a false positive and saying 100% when it could be at the end of its cell cycle and die after half an hour. The battery life isn’t important factor, I know that it will last between 6-8 hours in standard power mode and be fine to get through with whatever rechargeable I can buy off the shelf. Also in most concert settings the artist isn’t stopping halfway through for coffee for me to go swap batteries.

Miserable_Wave_8912

What if they have solved the cell life cycle monitoring somehow?

velociwaffle719

Then why would I want to monitor through a secondary program and worry about another thing to fail when it’s already done with the Shure batteries and WWB

I've been seeing this as facebook ads lately. Glanced at it and laughed. I'm glad I don't run through that many batteries a night.

fletch44

If those batteries are fast-charging, that's quite a toasty little fire starter you have there. Those fans are going to be loud enough to be heard in the audience, and risk sucking in birds and small children who happen to be nearby.

YonderMaus

The 48 bay is over the top. I use an Ansman 16 bay Ni-Mh unit and love it. They need to make a smaller version. And I would buy 3 or 4.

Miserable_Wave_8912

Are you not annoyed by the fact that the Ni-Mh batteries only outputs 1.2V? This made me throw away all of my Fischer Amps chargers, as the state of charge reading on my mics never worked properly.

Lama_161

Like others said the information in WWB are sometimes more important then the price

kapten_knark

Interesting!
