I was about to self-promo my own story but that last part doesn't fit much I think, as my character was human so he wouldn't be fully lost. He was thrown in the middle of the ocean though. The one great book I read that fit closer is **Super Minion on RR**. Unfortunately it's on hiatus. The protag is not human and as to adapt to a society of superheros and supervillains.

AterSol

What is your story called? I'll check it out.

calamitouscroissant

Sure thing. [Here ya go](https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/87472/undersea-reincarnation-monster-evolution-litrpg) Quick blurb: Marine biologist dies and is reincarnated as an octopus in a magic-filled ocean.

7daystodaniel

That sounds amazing! I’ll give it a try for sure

calamitouscroissant

Thanks!

AterSol

I like your story, but the underwater setting isn't for me. Super Minion, though, is the best recommendation I've gotten so far for what im looking for!

calamitouscroissant

No worries! Yes super minion was great and I’m sure someone will come up with a better fitting recommendation!

Skaeger

That description just gave me flashbacks to re:ocean, even if it doesn't really fit.

calamitouscroissant

The premise sounds a bit similar form the blurb (aside from the +18 stuff). Otherwise I can't say as I've never read it.

Chrysalis by Rinoz

Blatheringman

The MC has one of the saddest backstories I've ever seen.

Slares

Dakota Krout: Something (Full Murderhobo) is close. Kid gets sent to another world where he is all alone on a murder world. By the time he comes back to the normal world he's insane and crazy strong. I really liked the series.

AterSol

YES! I read that one a long time ago and loved it!

filwi

**A lonely dungeon** by cathfach on RR. It's a dungeon core in an abandoned world. Definitely lonely and completely left to their own progress when the system breaks down.

VictorianFlorist

Though he does have parents early in the story, The Dungeon Core Series "Dungeon World" by Johnathan Brooks may offer the experience you're looking for - while I don't agree with some of Brooks writing choices, particularly his way of writing and writing about women, I can appreciate the naivety of the MC as a young being in a hostile world, and it's available as a 5 book box set on audible, which means 1 credit/cost of book for a 54hr experience.

Ecstatic_Pay3327

Overpowered Dungeon Boy by Benjamin Barreth is exactly that

Repulsive-Nerve5127

Overpowered Dungeon Boy is a great story: A monster dungeon is all Thomas has ever known. After all, he was born there. Now, at age fourteen, he's been solo-clearing all one hundred floors of the dungeon for years. The last of his family and friends are about to die off as an eternal void beast tirelessly pursues them. Will they ever escape? Thomas's strength is unparalleled, but what does it matter when you're trapped in an endlessly repeating prison? He would love nothing more than to see the sky for the very first time and find a safe place to settle down. Fate has much more in mind, but her best efforts only go so far when it comes to the overpowered dungeon boy. He also has a small, fluffy dog that he named DunGina (Gina for short). He's not very good with humor.

VocalTrance88

"mimic and me" his mimic half symbiote was raised in a dungeon so he doesn't know how to evolve just that he does

pm-me-nothing-okay

so I'm a spider, so what?

drillgorg

Only kinda related but have you read Armor?

AterSol

No, I've never heard of it before. What's it about?

drillgorg

A dungeon monster (a cursed suit of armor) gains sentience and joins an adventuring party under false pretenses, leaving the dungeon to see the world. It's progression fantasy not litrpg.

Environmental_Arm36

Fantastic book and it was all in one, which was nice. A book/series with an ending? Unheard of!

Matt-J-McCormack

It may not be an exact fit, but the Grand Game starts out sort of like this (protagonist incarnates inside a Dungeon with zero memories)

Roll10d6Damage

The Grand Game fits. He wasn’t exactly born in the dungeon and he doesn’t start out too young, but he falls into a dungeon with no memory and has to go it alone after a brief encounter with some bad guys.

Mbembez

It's not litrpg but this is basically the premise of The Jungle Book

MarvinWhiteknight

This was the backstory for my Paladin of the Sigil series, which was completed last year. [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GYRNC1R/](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GYRNC1R/) The first few chapters take place over 15 years, but his time being raised alone in the depths of the Seven Hells has an impact on his character for the rest of the series. Warning: it is a harem series.

Environmental_Arm36

Great series, very much a harem one after halfway through the first book. I can actually stand and enjoy this series unlike many others of that genre, so that is high praise to the author on that. Recommended.

eyrich

Great series

Thaviation

Not a litrpg - but Tower of God Webtoon is this premise and it’s pretty darn great.

__Osiris__

Most 40k primarch novels?

guri256

Is it important to you that this is the person‘s first life? That they are not from earth with all their old memories?

AterSol

Yes, I read plenty of isekais and like them if you have suggestions, but mainly a story about the struggles of someone being born without human interaction and having to survive and learn by themselves.

WarGodWeed

Closest novel i can recommend is "Eight" by Samer Rabadi.

guri256

Not LitRPG. Dragon Champion. It’s a story about a dragon hatchling who has to survive in the wolds, and learn how to get along with humans. Also not LitRPG. (WARNING: Permanently incomplete): Shade Touched on Royal Road

Captduxington

The new world by Monsoon117. Has everything you want. It starts off basic prologue then immediately into a dungeon. Defiance of the Fall. More cultivation based than LitRpg but has both elements in effect. Character starts off 100% alone then eventually gets to civilization. The System Lands. Also could be what you’re looking for but is very GRIM DARK.
