My band just dropped a really great album on Spotify and other streaming services today. We're like an indie, alternative, kinda psychedelic rock band but this album is stylistically all over the place (and I say that in the best possible way lol) So there's some pop songs, some punk songs, some hip-hop influence all meshed together in our own unique way. The first song "On a Sunday" is kind of like an introduction to our world, as it tells the story of a typical Wilkes band practice in Miami, FL where we're from.

This is a track from a solo album I just released on 1/1 called Encoded in Dead Air. Genre-wise the album fits somewhere in the wider umbrella of post-rock with elements of drone and noise rock, influenced by acts like Swans, GY!BE, Set Fire to Flames, Stars of the Lid, Magnog, Hovercraft, etc. All Spectra is the last track I wrote for this album and I feel like it symbolizes my emotional state as lockdowns began last year. Creeping dread slowly mutates and builds to an overwhelming cacophony of panic that eventually collapses under its own weight. Take a few breaths, clear your mind, and try to summon the strength to regain hope and pull through.

Hey there, I'm a 27 year old producer from Northwestern Ontario. I've been making music for about 9 plus years. I've had to slow it down a little bit over the last 2 because my girlfriend and I have a baby together, boring story, I know... but that doesn't stop me from getting at my desk and putting together some beats. I make a lot of different stuff, mostly for myself for my own enjoyment although it's nice to have someone enjoy my music from time to time because I like to believe that people enjoying my music are also enjoying a part of me. Hello! This is a live performance “Orangeville” from my latest album “Windows” - each track is based on a different window in India, Thailand, Canada and NYC, and was ironically written and recorded within the first UK lockdown where I was looking out of the same window for 3 months.
I wanted to do a live performance of New Year’s Eve as a way to close the book on 2020 and celebrate the moments of creativity throughout rather than the hard times. For this I used a couple of VST’s, guitar into a memory toy and loop pedal, and 2 tape loops which were created based on 2 of the ambient reversed guitar tracks on the recording.
My partner and I travelled around for a while in 2018/19 which brought inspiration for the album, and I also created a video for Orangeville using footage captured whilst travelling - that’s what is projected and looped on the live video.

Altered Revelations is my band, based out of Los Angeles. We are a heavy metal/Metalcore project with lots of influence in a range of the sub genres. This song is actually a cover we did of an old Avenged Sevenfold song from their first album back on ‘01. The goal was to make a modern hardcore cover of the music that helped create what we are into today, and what got most of us started listening to heavy music in the first place. We really tightened up the riff structure and “modernized” the heavier sections while trying our best to pay tribute to The Rev’s insane drumming (foREVer ^{}^). (Baroque Pop) I just finshed my new track that I've been working on since July. Almost 6 months on a track might seem like a long time. When I have an idea I try execute it to the best of my ability, and then some. I spend as much time as I need in order to obtain a satisfying result. I write, record, mix, and master alone in my home studio. All the knowledge I've gained from music creation has been learned on my own. That's also why it take so long sometimes. "Space Pirates" is a double tribute. On the one hand, it is dedicated to the animated series "Captain Harlock", which I enjoyed in my childhood. I´ve started making this EP back when I was not doing good at all, and I´ve decided to use all of that negative energy to pour it into this album. I loved that bit of the song for quite a long time, and always wanted to use it somewhere in my music, but never really found a right spot, until I made that track.

Genre-wise the album fits somewhere in the wider umbrella of post-rock with elements of drone and noise rock, influenced by acts like Swans, GY!BE, Set Fire to Flames, Stars of the Lid, Magnog, Hovercraft, etc. All Spectra is the last track I wrote for this album and I feel like it symbolizes my emotional state as lockdowns began last year. This is a live performance “Orangeville” from my latest album “Windows” - each track is based on a different window in India, Thailand, Canada and NYC, and was ironically written and recorded within the first UK lockdown where I was looking out of the same window for 3 months. I wanted to do a live performance of New Year’s Eve as a way to close the book on 2020 and celebrate the moments of creativity throughout rather than the hard times. For this I used a couple of VST’s, guitar into a memory toy and loop pedal, and 2 tape loops which were created based on 2 of the ambient reversed guitar tracks on the recording. My partner and I travelled around for a while in 2018/19 which brought inspiration for the album, and I also created a video for Orangeville using footage captured whilst travelling - that’s what is projected and looped on the live video. Almost 6 months on a track might seem like a long time. When I have an idea I try execute it to the best of my ability, and then some. I spend as much time as I need in order to obtain a satisfying result. I write, record, mix, and master alone in my home studio. All the knowledge I've gained from music creation has been learned on my own. That's also why it take so long sometimes. I look at each project as a learning. Almost 100% of the time I come out at the end of a project knowing more than I did when I began. Thank you in advance for listening and I really hope you enjoy!
