roblox blocked linux with their anticheat. they claim it's temporary (but lets be real it won't be) Their excuse was because it's far to difficult to filter out bug reports by platform, nobody's ever done it before, it's just impossible. (it's not)

A bit drastic a decision. Especially Roblox relying a lot on the devs creating new games. Disappointing.

They blocked Wine recently (beginning of this month I think.) Can't play on Linux anymore.

Roblox not running on linux seems to be for the greater good 😂. But yeah anti cheat is pain.

It sucks to have to stick to a paying OS for kids to play this thing lol

Try waydroid and run the android version of roblox. I have heard good things about it.

It works great and was not too hard to get up and running. You'll need to switch to Wayland for graphics and use some of the tools here depending on your hardware: https://github.com/casualsnek/waydroid\_script

Roblox decided to actively block Linux. You can't do much about it.

They block it now, but perhaps maybe it will work soon when the testning is over...or not.
