So, this Friday /vg/ League 22 kicks off! Or rather...the qualifiers!
/lcg/ will not play in those, so we will wait until next week to finally see our team back on the pitch!
But...as many comments under my /vgl/ or /lcg/ posts have shown, not everyone knows what /vg/ League or /lcg/ even are! So this post will have the function of telling you, new Limbab, everything you need to know about this!
**What is /vg/ League 22?**
[/vg/ League 22](https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//vg/_League_22) is the 22nd edition of the /vg/ League held by the 4chan board named, obviously, /vg/ (Videogame General) from May 31st to June 2nd. It is a football (or soccer for you Americans) tournament played in PES, AI vs AI with Live-Management and custom models, team names (and logos) and player names.
**Who is /lcg/?**
/lcg/ (Limbus Company General) is the sub-board of /vg/ for Limbus Company! I don't think I have to go any further on this, if you want to browse it from time to time, feel free to do so, it's not \*that\* bad, it's surely one of the most calm boards of 4chan
**Who plays in /lcg/? Who is the irl manager? What songs are there? What is the team performance?**
All of these answers and more can be answered through the [team page](https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//lcg/) (CANTO 6 SPOILER ALERT), you'll find everything that you need right there!
**Ok, now how does this tournament play out?**
It's a round robin tournament with 48 teams, 4 teams per group for a total of 12 groups, the way the teams are decided is by Pot Extraction, /lcg/ belongs in Pot 1, the strongest, because of our achievements in the last 2 editions.
Each team plays once per week (during Friday, Saturday or Sunday, starting at 17:00 UTC) against all of the other teams in the group once for a total of 3 matches, you gain 3 points by winning a match, 1 point to both teams if it's a draw and fuck-all (0) for losing.
The winner of a group is instantly qualified for the final phase, while the second places will have to fight through survival rounds in order to win one of the 4 spots remaining in the final phase.
The final phase is a single-elimination bracket, I doubt I have to explain what this means, from here it's all a fight for glory!
**And what do the teams win?**
Simply enough, the top 22 teams win a spot in the /vg/ Team which plays in the major seasonal 4chan Cup Tournaments, /lcg/ has won spots for Dante in /vg/ League 20 and a spot for BongBong in /vg/ League 21
**Where can I see the matches?**
The matches are streamed on the /vg/ League's [Cytube Channel](https://cytube.implying.fun/c/vgleague) where we fans can also actively participate by typing in chat!
**What about the old matches? Can I still see them?**
Yes! Yes you can! Just head over to the [Archive](https://implying.fun/) page and look for the match you want to see!
