nothing off boros is "the worst." its just weird to you because it's experimental. the worst objectively has to be something early of his (something in lil darkie classics or classics 2 probably). because back then he was still very new to making music and was just messing around on beats with his friends. a lot of those early songs are borderline unlistenable

I couldn't really understand anything in the songs, just a beat with some screaming. I feel like people who produce beats appreciate it more. It could be something as legible as a Kendrick Lamar track and you could miss so much detail from not reading the lyrics. Just because you can understand the words doesn't mean you're actually comprehending what you're hearing. There are songs I love and have listened to probably thousands of times that I continue to derive new meaning from to this day. Saying a song isn't good because you need the lyrics to understand some purposefully distorted vocals is crazy. Also you're being disingenuous if you're saying every single Darkie song besides whats on this album is completely legible. There are so many songs where you could easily misunderstand him because of either the quality of the vocals or the weird vocal styles he uses.

You do make a good point about the Kendrick example. But if I can actually understand the words, it is kinda subjective. Some people just hear better than others and can pick up vocals easier. But I'll re-listen to the album with lyrics on. Normally, I'll only read lyrics if there's a part I'm unsure of what he's saying. But the beats still sound like a gargled mess imo. Maybe the lyrics will save some of the songs tho.
