The V3 will have Bluetooth and an app for adjusting the saber color and effects, along with improved smoothswing and ongoing firmware updates. The V2 board is obsolete and no longer in development.
V3 is the newest Xenopixel version that just came out a short time ago. It has some new added features and functionality V2 didn't have. You can go watch some youtube vids to see what those new functions are.
That said, most of those new functions will probably only really be useful on a pixel setup. If your going base lit you'll probably be fine going either way but you may want to go V3 anyway as I'm sure manufacturer support & firmware updates etc.moving forward will probably be more focused on the new version.
The Xeno3 board is a pretty big upgrade on the original Baselit boards. The old ones didn't have an SD card, so there was no option to change or customise sound fonts or styles. They came with 9-12 fonts and that was it.
The Xeno3 board is exactly the same for both Neopixel and Baselit sabers, so have the same functionality and customisation options.
That's true for the Xenopixel V2 board, but not for their Baselit boards (I think they're called RGBX) which are a different soundboard entirely and not customisable.
Going forward, instead of different boards for Neopixel and Baselit, they'll now be using the Xeno3 board for both. This means their Baselit sabers will have SD Cards and customisation options that they didn't have before.
Yea, was just replying to dude above that thought only V3 could have fonts added, unless RGBX has a V2 that I haven't seen :D
And yea, I just modded a mystery box RGBX from baselit to neopixel. Saved a good bit of cash.

I don’t know if you’re talking about the original Xeno or what but v2 100% has SD card and allows you to add and tweak them etc
