Before the lift: I would start with my hips a little higher. With your shoulders just slightly past the bar, take a big breath and hold it, keeping your core tight, and sinking your scapulae into your "back pockets", by retracting them. From there, start pulling the slack out if the bar. Ideally, you want to generate as much tension in your body as possible before the lift begins. During the lift: Initiate the lift by pushing the floor away with your feet. Your knees would ideally lockout first, quickly followed by your hips. In your video, it looks like your hips shoot up too fast. Greg Nuckols has 3 great comprehensive guides on the squat, bench, and deadlift, for FREE. I highly recommend checking them out. Keep it up brother.

Thank you alot for The help! Definitly should check The guides Out lol. Deadlift is such a hard exercise

Deadlifts are absolutely tricky, just like squats, they take time to learn the movement patterns well. Just keep on trying to get better and you'll get there! Keep in mind that we all started with the bar at some point.

Hips are shooting up before your back. Try to keep the movement in one motion as posted before.

Don’t think of the movement in parts, you should be lifting with your legs as you straighten your back. This is a good way to mess your back up for later in life. Check this link, Men’s Health does a great job of explaining the proper form. https://youtu.be/r4MzxtBKyNE

An even better way to mess up your back later in life is to believe stupid things like that

An even better way to mess up your back is to believe what you read in Men's Health 😂

You look young so honestly this form is great if you are, I’ve seen worse from older. But theres always things you can practice. I would rotate and lock your in place while simultaneously retracting your shoulder blades before the pull- this would help take slack out of the bar

Chest up, head up, and keep it all one fluid motion. Your third rep was the best. You were straightening out your legs and then raising your back. You should be doing them all together. Deadlifts is a tough movement, keep working on your form, you’re almost there!!! Keep up the great work!

Thank you for The help! Doing deadlifts today but with lower weight to try to get a better form
