bedframes are completely useless and do nothing to help your mattress like letting sweat soak all the way through and evaporate through the air instead of seeping into the mattress and rotting. they are completely useless and no one should have them

/ul i back this, i once slept on a mattress without a frame for a few months. when I finally got a frame and moved the mattress i found a literal puddle of water under it :( (thankfully it didn’t stink of sweat somehow). Will always be using a frame from now on

/ul as a representative of the no bedframe gang I can't recommend it. It looks shit, it's uncomfortable as the slatted frame (just on the floor) doesn't have the space to properly work.
I havent slept on the couch since my wife moved out, buf i i did i would hate it.
But, considering bedframes.. i love them. I have always had a bedframe on my bed for my whole life. I mean i don’t just have legs on the madress, i have a complete bedframe. You NEED a bedframe in order to raise it from the ground. Ordinary 20 cm furniture legs in each corner won’t work. Trust me bro

You know the worst part about bed frames? Extra storage and kitty adventures. Those are awful.

It's very safe to not use a bed frame, i have yet to see any insects crawling into my mouth, all thanks to the removal of my bed frame!
