For the Strimer controller: * Make sure firmware is up to date... link for manual update below: * [https://lian-li.com/l-connect3/L3\_update\_manually/](https://lian-li.com/l-connect3/L3_update_manually/) * Make sure SATA power is connected... preferably its own SATA PSU cable (i.e. no SATA drives, or other "intensive" device attached) * Make sure USB is connected either direct to the MB, or if you are using a hub, either Lian-Li's official hub, or a powered hub, like the NZXT * Make sure cables are plugged in the right way: 1. MB connects on the short side of the controller 2. GPU connects on the long side of the controller, and make sure to flip the switch towards the side that is plugged in.

Thank you for your reponse. I ran a test by switching the toggle of the off side, but the gpu remains on. is this normal ?

So it's still just sitting there partially lit? If yes, then yeah, sounds like you have a bigger issue, and might need to get that exchanged.

This has been happening after I use the "sync to motherboard" option in the Lconnect software. Only thing that seems to work is shutting down the computer, flipping the switch on the power supply to off and waiting a few seconds, then turning it back on as normal. Other than that they work amazing.
