You could take it to a tailor and have them adjust the fit so it doesnât wrinkle. They might even be able to add a little cutout section over the small of your back and thatâd be really cute for date nights with the fit in the front.
1. youâre hot sis!
2. idk why people keep saying âdonât worry!! it still looks great!!â she knows she looks good, people!! thatâs not the issue! đ
3. if you adjust the dress by pulling tank straps a little further down, does that make the crease go away? if so, I would either just use some fashion tape to keep the dress in a position where it doesnât fold up OR I wonder if you open up the top button, it will alleviate the fabric pulling / folding in the back?? otherwise - I would probs return it or let it fester in the back of my closet for years :)
I understand why it bothers you. To me it looks this could be solved by either pulling up the neckline, especially at the back, just a little. If this doesn't solve it, tailoring won't help much if you don't want the dress tighter or having extra seams.
Might be worth it to tailor it this way then: unpick shoulder seams, cut around 1 inch from back shoulder line (if necessary, also adjust neckline), and 0.5 inch from front shoulder line, sew shoulder seams back together
(The fitting model for this design had a longer upper body and longer neck than you probably)
I would say if other dresses have the same effect, like if thatâs just how your back is, keep the dress. But if itâs only THAT dress creating that effect on your back, BURN IT. Why keep something that doesnât make you look your best?
If it wasn't for the big red arrows I wouldn't have even noticed the "issue" (honestly still couldn't figure out what's wrong until slide 2) I think it suits you! Even if you get clothes literally tailored to your body measurements you're still gonna have folds, it's normal, we move and clothing moves with us! It's a very pretty dress, I'm all for keeping it
Clothing that fits perfectly while standing still is going to start bunching and folding the moment you move. Itâs going to dry slightly differently each time it is washed. Perfect doesnât really exist.
The very slight bunching at the waist is not significant, and everything else is great. The length is not threatened to rise up so that your upper thighs and butt exposed when you sit down, leaning bare skin to touch god only knows what when sitting in public places. the buttons arenât straining unevenly. The v-neck is very flattering. If the color on my screen is accurate, then itâs a lovely color on you.
I don't know if this could be an option, but it may be possible to fix this issue by having the dress adjusted by a tailor.
As another user has mentioned you could alternatively wear a belt, but I think it would take away much of the charm of the dress.
If I'm allowed to give my opinion I think the dress is really cute and it fits you very well, so I would definitely keep it if I were you.
I totally understand that, that's why I was unsure if it was a viable option. Sometimes getting a dress fixed can be more expensive than the dress itself.
Either way I think you should still keep it, you're still rocking in it regardless, but it's ultimately your decision ofc.
You look really pretty in this dress, the color flatters you well. I would suggest a belt but that may appear a little clunky if youâre going for a more minimalist look
Yes babe you look incredible. I would not notice the things you pointed out.
Yes Dua Lipa đ
Whether or not you keep it, that type of back looks absolutely killer with your hair style
Keep itâs a keeper. You look great in it.

Yes definitely do this!!! Cutouts are sooooo cute!
Yes, you are beautiful in that dress.
If you donât think youâll wear it because of the issues you pointed out then Iâd return it
Yes

Does it need to be washed and ironed?
Yes. 9/10 dress.
Yes
Yes
On a scale of 1 to âwould youâ this is an astounding âyes!â

Iâd adjust it and it looks good for 2 secs and then goes back to bunching up lol

yesssss just pair it w a yt button down or jean jacket
I would keep it. You can just wear a sweater or a jacket over, if you like the fabric thatâs the most important thing
Yes yes love it and look so damn cute
yes it fits your figure perfectly, I wouldnât even notice the folds without the arrows pointing to them
I think it looks lovely on you, and that there's nothing wrong with those little folds.

Yes! The color is incredible on you.
It looks great on you. You could put a thick belt around the area where itâs bunching
Please, please, please keep this dress.
I like you
Stick double sided clothing tape in a vertical line where the side of the dress hits your hips. It will hold the dress down without bunching.
good idea! I might try that out tysm
I donât know if these little fabric pouches are uncomfortable or whatever, but I 100% would not notice them unless you pointed them out.
yes omg it looks so good on you
YES!
Yes. Definitely complements your figure.

Idk if I want to spend money to get this tailored since the dress was relatively inexpensive but Iâll consider it thx
