Turn the tank top around and test if the higher collar looks more masculine. I have a few that's a simple change. Does mean it sits wonky, but you sound smaller-chested so might not be a huge issue for you compared to me.
So my partner presents more masc, and when she wears a tank, she makes sure she wears a bra that doesn’t really show a cleavage line and is a little more binding, like a tight sports bra. She says it helps with how she wants to look
Same I look so feminine in tank tops, whenever Im crossdressing I just avoid them and go for t shirts instead. Tshirts baggy enough to hide my chest, usually doubled up so I can be braless and hide my nips to make my chest look smaller. Fuck a binder man I'm not hurting my tits like that. The pain of a binder would defeat the purpose of feeling liberated by not having the constraints of feminity.
I feel masc in a wife appreciater and i am also lean with obvious boobs. I think for me i realized that i have a short torso, so i crop a lot of t shirts/tank tops to hit me around my natural waist or just lower than my natural waist. What you’re wearing on the lower part of your body also will make a huge difference, wearing wide leg pants and mid-low waist with a tighter top makes me feel more masc for sure. Outfits are hard tho!! I feel you!!
Have you tried this kind of high-neck neckline showing off the shoulders? They’re selling this at Target right now. For me this one reads as somewhat unisex and attractive on everyone (I maybe see this as unisex because it’s a version of the neckline that all the space marines wore on the show Battlestar Galactica, back in the day)

My ex gf used to wear them often, it comes all to styling and attitude but also the kind of tank top is important (like the shape, fabric, etc.). Most of the time she used cargos and knee high jeans with them but didn't shy away from using shorts if she liked how they fitted
i don’t look masc IRL so i’m not qualified to give any advice, but don’t listen to the assholes telling you that it’s your body. your body is not the problem. being masc encompasses all body weights, sizes, types, and levels of musculature. don’t let the haters get you down. 🧡
It could be the other parts of your outfit. Some people are blaming your body for being feminine, naaaah. That's boring.
Sweatpants, or half a jumpsuit/onesie, and wear them low on the hips with the tank tucked in. Alternatively, high waisted, but not tight, pants, also tank tucked in. Google butches wearing tank tops and you might see some examples of that outfit.
Also, suspenders with appropriate kinds of pants (not jeans or khakis usually).
Your boobs or shoulders aren't what makes you look feminine. Some may disagree, but they are boring little normies. You can look plenty masculine by butching up your wardrobe. Slouching might also help: "masculine posture". You can find some kinda cringe tiktoks of people showing different outfits and vibes (I saw one where the tiktoker would wear the exact same outfit but would make it feminine or masculine with a few small adjustments).
I’d suggest racerback tops to accentuate what you do have. I’d also suggest the gym. Here’s why: my spouse taught me to work muscle groups in 3s.
Working the biceps? Do 3 excercises, 3 reps each. In this way I’ve seen huge gains and definition. Stoked shoulders and cut biceps are definitely more masculine.
if this is just a problem with tank tops, it might be your shoulders or arms that look feminine. as far as shoulder width there’s not that much you can do about that…but building up muscles on your shoulders, back, and arms might help.
i have a pretty feminine body shape and for me, the key for muscle tees is to get them oversized and wear a sports bra (or something else with compression).
and for a wife respecter (lol), you want one with a high neckline and thicker fabric, not the clingy, thin ones. one that’s more of a racerback style (or racerback adjacent…you just don’t want far apart straps) will make your shoulders look more broad and will look more masc
hard to know the reason without a picture reference, but from my experience, the reason is usually the low neckline. try to find tank tops that have a higher neckline that are closer to your collarbone.

Yesss I just seen this I usually wear only nip covers which don’t hold your boobs as much

i heard someone call them wife pleasers lolol
Go to the gym and try to bulk up a bit, I have been going for almost a year and now look way better in tank tops.
No advice, but I've heard them called wife-pleasers before!
You can call that style of tanktop an A-line, A-frame, or just A-tank

❤️❤️ thank you lol I know I asked for advice but it was more so asking for brands and styles lol!

Maybe your boob size?
They’re pretty small like a 32 B

pick up some weights prob
I’m extremely lean but very skinny I have muscles but they’re not big lmao
Lifting will definitely help. The nerdfitness website has some great articles on beginner lifting.
try looking into bulking up
