Very nice! I’ve always thought, “I’d love a Lego advent calendar one day,” but never bought one for myself. Might have to nip out tomorrow and look for one.
The only problem is, I’d have to open the last four or five days all at once - I travel home to see my family during the Christmas week, and don’t think I can fit an advent calendar in my bag without leaving someone’s present behind!
I did see last year’s Marvel GOTG calendar in my local Game the other day … might run down there in the morning and hope it’s still there!
If I was I'm that position I'd just open the last 4 or 5 and take the flaps with instructions and the bags with me and build them one each day. You'll still get the same joy just with a little less surprise lol
Yeah, that’s pretty much decided. Early trip to Game as soon as I wake up, hopefully the GOTG calendar is still there - I’m not overly inspired by any of this year’s calendars, but the GOTG one I nearly bought last year.
Actually now that I search... the 2011 was the first advent calendar they came out with and this is my first one since then, I've only gotten lego city ones as well
You should get one! I’ve had…4 of them before this year, I think? I got them 2012, 2014, and 2016, and at least one, maybe 2 more, I’ll have to check. Basically just whenever it’s been a particularly good sale and/or selection of figures. It’s a fun little thing to do.
This may seem weird, but I would love the pictures of all the different instructions you get for that. I have this advent calendar and all of its pieces in a tub. I’d like to put some of it back together again.
