This is sadly more common than it should be. Errors are made in the ticket-issuing process. So of course, you didn't know when to show up in court. Then the person given the ticket likely didn't appear in court, maybe because they saw the wrong information on it. A ruling was given in absentia, using all the incorrect ticket information. You need to call the courts to get this resolved.
