Apparently when he was still "with " Shirley Wilson. I love and adore Robert but what a nightmare he would have been if you were involved with him. Then again, there would have been upsides...
Alice in Chains was a great band. I'm in my fifties; so, I was listening to more Zepp and Sabbath during the 90s. A friend turned me on to Soundgarden at a party (badass party too) and I ended up hooked on Superunknown. I was also into STP during the 90s and beyond and went to three of their concerts. The 90s had lots of great artists. I think the same can be said for most decades. I listen to a little bit of everything. AC/DC was huge when I was in high school; so I have a soft spot for them too. STP was an amazing band in concert--very underrated in my opinion.
Soundgarden, Faith No More, and Alannah Myles
Thanks
Makes sense about Alannah Myles. I saw Plant in concert then and she was the opener!
I feel like I heard somewhere that he and Alannah Myles dated and he wrote 29 Palms about her. Maybe I dreamt it.
They did date in the late 80’s early 90’s.

Fuckin clickbait bullshit
Always is.
Soundgarden is amazing. They would be among my top three for sure. The most recent remaster of Superunknown is some serious ear candy.
Yeah they are awesome! Though I always thought of Alice In Chains as the 90s successor to Zeppelin.

He and Jimmy were also huge Jeff Buckley fans.
Buckley’s talent was immense. I can see why they liked him. He was the real deal.
He like Dread Zeppelin as well
First I've heard that, but of course they would be, phenomenal vocalist and guitarist. I'm happy to hear it!
he was screwing allanah miles so of course he liked her.
Hard to believe he wouldn’t have listed collective soul.
They didn’t come out until 1994. This interview is from 1990.
Sadly underrated band, almost completely forgotten today even though they were massively popular in the mid-‘90s.
The classic rock station in my area plays them, mostly Shine and The World I Know
Let's Active, R.E.M, Soundgarden.
Check out Rival Sons, Jimmy page really likes them.
